This is harder than I thought and I get easily knocked out. When I got punched more than once at the same time I start disorienting and I immediately lose. Any tips?

Do you roll punches? That's not step 1, but it's pretty important. Know how to take a punch. When it comes down to it, plenty of physical endurance comes down to technique. That's why even very defensive and sturdy fighters can lose to one good punch (Sean strickland vs. Alex peiera)

I don't have any tips, sorry. I just wanted to say good on you for getting amongst it. Sparring is the tits.
I really should call in and see my old boxing coach.

That's pretty natural, half of it is knowing when to get out of a losing situation to give you enough time to reorient yourself
>shield
>back up
>side step
>throw front uppercuts to dissuade following
and if all else fails throw yourself at them to pin their arms to their side, after a couple seconds to ref will call a time out

if this one doesn't work then throw yourself at them but drop to your knees and just start sucking their cock, after a couple seconds to ref will call a timeout

>want to learn how to fight
>sign up for MMA classes
>99% of people there already have 5+ years of experience
>we do drills that to a beginner are vomit inducing
>then everyone has to pick a partner to spar with
>the coaches didnt teach me anything because "youll learn from sparring" so I get knocked out 2 times because i dont know literally anything
>class is over
>go back home with a migraine and a liver that hurts
Never went there again and I'm pretty sure it's impossible to learn martial arts because noone wants to teach you shit and instead just beat the fuck out of you and to this day I still don't know how to throw a punch.

If these stories are true, those are dogshit gyms, coaches, and training partners. That's very unusual. For the vast majority of gyms, regular guys and hobbyists are the ones paying the bills. It is utter foolishness to run them off.

Couple practical tips:
Keep your hands up, elbows tight. Natural instinct is often to try to block punches like you're swatting flies, but if you reach out you're opening yourself up. Don't flail, stay tight.
Don't look away. Getting bopped in the face sucks and it's very alarming to an untrained person, but practice keeping your chin down, eyes forward. Natural instinct will make you scrunch your face up, close your eyes, and turn your head away to try to avoid getting hit. Do not take your eyes off your opponent. Force yourself to keep your eyes on him. You're still going to get hit, but if you can see where/when he's hitting you, that's progress.
Hide your chin and aim your forehead at him. Your forehead is very tough, it can take a lot more punishment than your nose or your chin. Not that you want to get hit at all, of course, but getting bopped in the forehead is preferable to turning your face away and getting nailed in the chin or temple.
Don't hold your breath. Exhale sharply when you strike. Natural instinct will make you either hold your breath, or gasp and never breathe out. Force yourself to exhale forcefully, then you will naturally inhale, then forced exhale again, etc. That way you stay breathing and don't get lightheaded. Crunch your abs as hard as you can on the exhale, this makes your strikes better and helps protect you from body shots (at least a little).
Learn what an OODA loop is. Google it, watch some vids. Basically in the early stages of sparring you just need to observe and orient. If you can take an observer's role and just see what's happening (oh he's peppering me with his jab, aha now he's hooking to my body, he slipped my cross), that's your first step towards figuring this stuff out.
Ultimately the training environment makes or breaks it, if you really are surrounded by retards you don't want to help you and keep hurting you, find a better gym.

Correct, any gym whose students are trying to give you a concussion and permanent injuries on the sparring are not good gyms. Most pro fighters only do light sparring and never do hard sparring because the risk of injury is high and you learn slower when under high stress.

I have heard dark heard rumors of inner-city gyms allowing foolish white boys to sign up for a few classes and feeding them to their prospects so they can get some confidence before their low-level pro fights. Allegedly, these gyms will sniff you out if you're a little too old and/or soft to ever be all that good, and throw you to the wolves in order to make them stronger.

some gyms don't have a choice if the sport isn't popular in the area/country. take your meds

There are people wanting to take martial arts in every country. The things that causes a gym to fail is not "oh, this martial art isn't popular enough." Gyms that fail have real problems, such as: bad instructors (you might be good, the people you hire might not be), a lack of good cash flow management (some businesses suck at accepting our money), not managing or understanding expenses, playing favorites with your clients (your regular joes fill up your wallet more than your prized bull that might compete in a few years simply because they outnumber your prized bull), etc.
