BMX is dead because it's impossible to ride in baggy jeans and only boomers wear skinny jeans nowadays.

I don’t see adults ride BMX just teens. I don’t want parents thinking I’m a creep for participating in a children’s sport.

bmx riders are inherently creeps (look at adam22 for example).

learn to skate instead (inline or board, either works)

I’m tall and heavy, not fat just heavy from my height and the board is hard to balance

that's pretty hefty dude
185~ would be one thing but 210 even at 6'5 is pretty generous

Wtf I was not expecting to see that, maybe it’s my tall lanky body that makes the trucks bend easily.

They are venture trucks. I tried tightening them only to realize they won’t get tighter.

I'm 30 and starting to get into it. I think it's cooler than skating. It's also easier and better on the body in my opinion. Plus I like being able to really get around on my bike. On a board everything is slower and so much effort.

>On a board everything is slower and so much effort.
nah, actually riding bmx for any distance is so uncomfortable, unless you're a manlet. Nothing beats cruising from spot to spot on a board, and it's much easier to hop on a metro/bus/uber with one if you're tired.

Right because tiny hard wheels over bitumen/coarse concrete and cracks is so much quicker and easier than actual fucking tyres. and pushing a board along is so much easier than pedalling. And going slightly uphill is just easier on a board than pedalling on a bike. And standing for the entire ride instead of having the option to sit is so much nicer. Have you ever been outside? You've never skated or ridden.

>going slightly uphill is just easier on a board than pedalling on a bike
you pick the board up and walk with it. cycling uphill on bmx is not easy, you'll just end up pushing it.

>having the option to sit
as I said, unless you're an absolute manlet or riding some 1980s bmx this is not a realistic option
