you only have one life, might as well try it. I started at 200 and granted I'm not that good now (can land basic flip trucks and shuv variations) it's still enjoyable and even therapeutic I would argue. Not to mention it's a good form of cardio. I know a guy who skates daily even in his 40s, it's really up to you how far you want to push yourself
