1. Most fights online have really weak striking.
2. A broken hand doesn't end the fight. People will continue fighting and notice later after the fight ends.
Even doctors will talk about the "classic" boxer's fracture. You know less than the annoying nerd this thread is making fun of.
One hospital had 172 hand injuries from punching in just 12 months, "but people don't break their hand fighting." https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articl

if the little bone cracks don't stop you from continuing to fight then there's no point even talking about them
what? injuries in a fight?!? yeah well no shit, stay out of fights if you don't want to have them
meanwhile you have irl tuffgai combative faggots suggesting you use palm strikes and shit instead of punches so your hands don't break as though they'll shatter like glass and leave you defenseless
great idea coach, let's use an objectively less effective striking surface and risk great bodily harm and possibly death by losing the fight instead of risking some ouchies on our widdle fingies by making a fist

That would most definitely be the kick, not the punch.

Arguably also the kick, but a case could be made for the punch.

No such thing, by the way; most people use pure punches despite the fact that impure punches are stronger; there is no standard.

Classic retard mistake of not understanding how evolution works. Your hands didn't "adapt" to do anything in the sense primates went down some tech tree like a video game where they specced into fine motor skills, that's not how it works. Evolution works through reproductive pressure. If you kill a guy with your bare hands breaking them in the process, but fuck and impregnate his mate afterwards there'd be absolutely no selective pressure making organisms with tougher hands more likely to develop, and people would continue to have brittle hands (which is exactly what happened to human beings, seemingly. We have delicate hands but still use them to fight sometimes).

People get it twisted, what you're describing with the hands thing is lamarckian evolution
For the peanut gallery it's the idea that the parents physical development in life passes down to the children
A giraffe spends all its life stretching its neck to reach the high leafs so the baby will have a longer neck
The parent spent its life running and developing strong leg muscles, so the baby will have legs better for running etc
That's not how it works but lots of people seem to think it does
The fact is evolution is a game of "good enough" It's not about being optimal and thriving forever it's just about being able to nut before you die
It isnt some constant onward march towards something greater. If you have a design that works pretty well like a shark or a crocodile you just don't change very much because it does the job just fine
