so, I have been training boxing for fun and something I want to know is... how I do the dempsey roll? I mean, I have it clear, make an 8 with the movements of your head, by moving your knees and a bit of your torso nothing more, but, how do I better it? any comment is accepted! (unless its some shit like ''move'')

Repetition and sparring, assuming you have basic footwork and stance knowledge. Get wide, move your body, not just your head, know because you're square your punches come at 35-degree angles. speed matters, be in shape and be fast.

the trick to closing the distance and landing a blow with a straight right is to
A) step forward with the punch
B) After your front foot hits the ground, take one step forward with your back foot and plant it there.

it feels awkard at first. like taking a second, half-step. but practice it and youll see, it increases your range bigly. so, if someone is dancing around or backing up, youll still crack them in the head.
