I don't want to demoralize but do you think it's over?
This is generated by Hunyuan3d Image to 3D AI. What do we think about it?

Dozens of issues visible without even looking under the hood/placing it into actual proper scene/animating it. 3D ai is made by jeets with no understanding of what an asset requires, they approach it with 2D ai mindset of "looks fine on my screen = good"

Incorrect CAD inches for bootleg lego. It’s never going to make it. Chinese lego is better than this and they copied it without AI.

You know that they will fix these issues eventually. Then what?

Normal people cannot achieve correct calculations, a robot that does a crappy job of copying another person’s behavior isn’t going to change anything.

if you make lame slop then, yea its over, or you can make something interesting that speaks to you and that you want to share

Go into sculpting, remesh, flatten, smooth, decimate, go into edit mode and manually fix minor issues + improve topology. Still 10x faster than doing it from scratch.

If it's really good and easy to use I'm gonna use it. If I'm feeling there is something that I can't achieve this way or something I simply want to do myself I'm gonna do that myself.
Honestly, I never did use AI for anything other than fixing my english atm, but I consider it's more fun to try to appreciate it rather than put yourself into a disadvantageous position by taking a religious stance how everything is only appropriate to do manually.
The most important thing to understand is that there is no way back, this technology is here and it's only going to improve and next gen artists will be used to it it from their childhood.
Okay, maybe most of them won't be artists anymore but rather "art directors". Whatever. If there's something this thing can't do, you can be special by doing it yourself, if you do something that it can do, you're just wasting your time (and it's fine if it's just for fun).

Okay tell me how you are going to unfuck all of that, shitty messy model including arms and hands that are literally merged to the body, as well as crotch piece melded with legs (legos don't work like that retard), while also preserving uvs and textures. Faster than making from scratch, clueless dipshit

"improve topology" if i was given that model i would just redo it overtop of itself, this might be a bad example but its fucking lego its like 10 minutes of poly-modeling not even youd want the edges to look good where the lock together

By literally selecting faces in edit mode, pressing P - "Selection". Idk if it's news to you, but it preserves UVs and textures.

Try doing the hand alone in 10 minutes.

You couldn't even write the steps correctly, this means you'd really benefit from actually trying it.

That’s Blender’s awful UV editing tool. It doesn’t follow standard procedures and will break when uploading to other sources. Stop use it.

Just create a tube primitive and delete the bottom polys, then cap the ends. Throw in a bevel for better edges, that's basically it. This shouldn't take more than a couple minutes max total for anyone.

I personally think the best way to do it is start from curve, I couldn't do it nicely though.
I spent maybe 10-15 minutes adjusting the curve and maybe 10-15 minutes trying to bend and smooth it nicely.

This I got from booleaning cylinders. It looks promising but I don't know how to smooth it. I already had to use knife tool and dissolve. Applying subdiv to this does something weird and breaks everything.

Fixed it a bit but it's still off somehow. Idk how to get fingers right. Looks carefully and fingers section and the video. I scaled down the far faces but this is not enough, it doesn't look right after subdiv.
