Like the other guy said, you'll need to photoshop it. Render in Daz with the dome visibility off, so the png file will have transparency where you need it. Then the easiest way get the Background HDRI you want positioned how you want it, would be to just replace the lighting hdri with the background one, turn on the dome, position it how you want in the camera view, then hide all assets and just render only the hdri dome.

In photoshop / Gimp / whatever, just load the background render on a layer below the foreground render and thats it, ya done.

> is there any rule of thumb for exposure and shutter speed for interior scenes?
No, daz3d is different because since you can adjust the lighting to whatever you want the tone mapping becomes less important. IRL you are more reliant on the camera since there isn't this level of depth and ease of adjusting lighting on real set.

The tone map settings are for HDRI work only generally. Either use the tone mapping or learn photoshop.

The iso, fstop, shutter on the actual camera itself are used like a real camera for things visiblity, extending or shrinking focus/DOF etc

2 options:

Step 2: Look at a real life street and and analyse how light falls and which sources are responsible for which illumination. See example A.

Step 3: Take basic crash course in Daz3d Lighting to understand how each light works.

Step 4: Experiment, reflect and repeat this process infinitely

Option 2:

Step one: Take a basic photography course

I'm using Octane for years now, not only with DAZ Studio. Not only is it magnitudes faster and profits from multi-GPU setups, it also achieves better and cleaner renders with less samples.

The issue with Daz Studio is it's easy to use from the getgo therefore a lot of people install the thing, move the model around, then start having (coomer) fantasies about creating comics or animations.

Then they start working on a project and are forced to learn the more in-depth stuff of Daz Studio. They have no idea about the learning curve people have to climb in order to learn pro software packages like ZBrush or Maya. So naturally they start complaining how Daz Studio is too difficult to understand, too buggy, badly made, etc.

Daz Studio attracts a certain kind of person which considers putting some effort into something as some sort of insult. But they have to coom therefore they will SUFFER through the indignity of actually learning something.

You don't get it.
All those solutions are needlessly convoluted. You should not have to deal with different shapes of falloff orbs you first place somewhere or painting falloff maps before getting to the real fix. Just select a brush, grab a bra strap that sticks to the body and lift it up until it looks like it has tension. Done. Fixing shit quickly is a great help in a creative workflow and fixing isn't always only part of the post work. Using copious amounts of morphs usually fucks shit up so badly that it can fuck with your creativity. Quick fixes help while being still midways in the process.

Horrible, absolutely horrible. I don't know what these guy's think when they make this shit. It's disgusting and creepy asf. Weird body positioning and that light is way off. Either has dome or no dome in the scene, no scene lights, rim, point etc. Just bad HDRI. Can't believe people pay to see this shit. I fixed this garbage

This is pre packaged lighting. Every time this “artist” has attempted to do lighting by themselves it’s blown the fuck out.

It’s considered pathetic to comment on your own post. Maybe you’d prefer reddit or did you get banned from there because it’s borderline pedoshit?

Can someone tell me the name of the artist? This is absolutely top level stuff here. I would have no problem paying for this and getting lessons from them. Can someone please break this down for me? I really want to learn to render like this.
