Like the other guy said, you'll need to photoshop it. Render in Daz with the dome visibility off, so the png file will have transparency where you need it. Then the easiest way get the Background HDRI you want positioned how you want it, would be to just replace the lighting hdri with the background one, turn on the dome, position it how you want in the camera view, then hide all assets and just render only the hdri dome.
In photoshop / Gimp / whatever, just load the background render on a layer below the foreground render and thats it, ya done.

You can't fix in post what you failed to do in the render.
Your lighting is literally an example of minimal understanding. Congrats you flooded the scene with light and everything is illuminated. You win an average render.
That being said, you've done more than most coomer guys do, so that's an achievement.
Also, that expression is shit and you need to have her eyes either looking at the camera or an actual object.

For more of an example on this is that none them teach the most important concept to do with daz3d, which is that the lighting system has to be deliberating cheated and manipulated in order to achieve above average results. The difference between being intermediate and bordering on advanced is rendering individual lighting concepts as layers and painting away damage and comprising shadows.

It was pretty run of the mill but I admire his will to get better. He'll find his footing eventually. Besides, that sort of thing rarely stops daz users. Just look at the steampunk muscle autist that simply removes limits from shaping morphs and pumps out endless "content" and issues of their "graphic" novel.

Ok zoomers, so when you're old enough to own a few pieces of tech over the years, sometimes you get bad tech and while its easy to get a warranty replacement, the data is gone forever. I know that you're lives are literally perfect and nothing bad ever happens to the products you bought but the world is bigger than your bedroom and believe it or not, people that exist outside of yourself occasionally get bad tech. Increase your sample size to larger than one and you're on your way to understanding. It's a really useful life skill.

When you render as layers and canvases, it becomes irrelevant. I'd only use if I was ever doing HDRI based work.
> I heard that you should just put burn highlights and crush blacks to 0 and just edit it through photoshop
Learn photoshop
> is there any rule of thumb for exposure and shutter speed for interior scenes?
No, daz3d is different because since you can adjust the lighting to whatever you want the tone mapping becomes less important. IRL you are more reliant on the camera since there isn't this level of depth and ease of adjusting lighting on real set.
The tone map settings are for HDRI work only generally. Either use the tone mapping or learn photoshop.
The iso, fstop, shutter on the actual camera itself are used like a real camera for things visiblity, extending or shrinking focus/DOF etc

2 options:
Option 1:
Step one: Understand that IRAY imitates how light in real life works, mostly.
Step 2: Look at a real life street and and analyse how light falls and which sources are responsible for which illumination. See example A.
Step 3: Take basic crash course in Daz3d Lighting to understand how each light works.
Step 4: Experiment, reflect and repeat this process infinitely
Option 2:
Step one: Take a basic photography course
Step two: Apply those lessons to Daz3d.

The Iray implementation in DAZ is severely gimped, unlike the commercial versions for 3ds, Maya and Rhino. Working with it is a chore, I strongly recommend taking the Octane pill. I'm using Octane for years now, not only with DAZ Studio. Not only is it magnitudes faster and profits from multi-GPU setups, it also achieves better and cleaner renders with less samples.

Only noobs try to render an entire image in one render. If you’re doing this then sure, octane looks acceptable.
But if you’re actually interested in getting quality looking results you render as layers and when you do this it makes no difference what render engine you use.

If you render as layers, it makes no difference as the quality of your work is determined in post-processing.
This is not subjective. So either you're not rendering as layers or you're not post-processing. Either way your assertion that octane is better than Iray is irrelevant when it comes to produce work of quality.

The issue with Daz Studio is it's easy to use from the getgo therefore a lot of people install the thing, move the model around, then start having (coomer) fantasies about creating comics or animations.
Then they start working on a project and are forced to learn the more in-depth stuff of Daz Studio. They have no idea about the learning curve people have to climb in order to learn pro software packages like ZBrush or Maya. So naturally they start complaining how Daz Studio is too difficult to understand, too buggy, badly made, etc.
Daz Studio attracts a certain kind of person which considers putting some effort into something as some sort of insult. But they have to coom therefore they will SUFFER through the indignity of actually learning something.

I'm just going to clear this up for you, because people who use blender/maya get this confused constantly and seem mald hard over it.
Daz3d is not a 3d modelling or 3d artist program. It is a photography simulator.
Daz3d is awesome for people who don't want to 3d model or spend time in blender/maya or whatever.
People who Daz3d use it because they don't want to be a 3d artist.
It's an awesome program when used in combination with adobe suite. You can do quite alot with it without having do a singluar second of actual 3d work.
Now get the fuck out.

Again my point, Daz3d is for the creation of "photorealistic" render of existing 3d models under simulating real-life lighting conditions. People who use Daz3d understand this and use it for this purpose.
Retard was having a go at people who Daz because they will never be real blender 3d modellers or artists. He has severely misunderstood the use of the program.

The point was dazlets don't understand how to use Daz Studio and which is why they have such a tough time troubleshooting really simple stuff. You literally just thought Iray was this magical never before seen realistic "photographic simulator".

Literally just plug the illumination values of the lights out of databases of real life lights. And add some volumetric fog for added spiciness. And make the render with the right iso/F/stop values, just like a real photographer would.
It ain't complicated. Iray simulate real lights. If ya want some real lights, plug the real light values, add some fog if needed, and take the picture with the good real camera taking the real lights value good options good. Ain't bad complicated.

You don't get it.
All those solutions are needlessly convoluted. You should not have to deal with different shapes of falloff orbs you first place somewhere or painting falloff maps before getting to the real fix. Just select a brush, grab a bra strap that sticks to the body and lift it up until it looks like it has tension. Done. Fixing shit quickly is a great help in a creative workflow and fixing isn't always only part of the post work. Using copious amounts of morphs usually fucks shit up so badly that it can fuck with your creativity. Quick fixes help while being still midways in the process.

I do get it. You want more 3d versatility and 3d tools inside of daz studio. This is the reason why anyone who wants to do actual 3d work avoids it like plague.
Daz and photoshop go well together because you can just negate all the 3d pitfalls. If I personally didn't use photoshop/illustrator/after effects/animate, I wouldn't touch it.

But here's the simple truth. If you are trying to do a complete render in one image without any post production, it will always look like shit.
Daz3d looks like shit, you need to stylise your images for it to be even passable.

Some people need to realize having shoes limits articulation and so they should adjust the pose accordingly.

Make something of visual quality and people don't give a fuck about the position of a shoe. Fixing a shoe is the least of his problems. Probably the least of yours too.

Horrible, absolutely horrible. I don't know what these guy's think when they make this shit. It's disgusting and creepy asf. Weird body positioning and that light is way off. Either has dome or no dome in the scene, no scene lights, rim, point etc. Just bad HDRI. Can't believe people pay to see this shit. I fixed this garbage

This is pre packaged lighting. Every time this “artist” has attempted to do lighting by themselves it’s blown the fuck out.
