I'm not sure you can avoid distortions when the shape of your mesh doesn't coincide with the shape of your uv map. It gets worse the less polygons you have. Best you can do is add more subdivisions.

Or or maybe learn how to bend models instead of stretching it.

It's not "hard". You're making roads wrong anon, that's why. Don't use your own ignorance as a fault of the software.
Make a straight road segment, add some loop cuts, make a curve going how you want the road (tilt it by 90 degrees), add an array modifier to the road segment (set the length to curve and select your curve), add a curve modifier to the road and fuck with the curve settings until it looks flat. Ez pz.

Use the Blender or questions thread next time instead of making a thinly-veiled "spoonfeed me" under the guise of a complaint. I just laid out what you need to do, if any of that was confusing, don't ask for more help, just fucking learn how to use the program. This is baby-tier basic.

Blender: Takes 4 minutes to build a simple road with bending.

Maya: 2 minutes to build a road (bending included) and make it acceptable for texturing.

This is why Blender will never become industry standard.
