if they offered perpetual licenses, i would be glad to pay for them and then clean the installation once offline. but i'm not going to allow a dozen different spy programs on my PC that behave exactly like malware. autodesk malware is so insane it literally self-reinstalls instantaneously when you delete the malware .exe.
i managed to get it to stop doing that, but that took so much effort that i lost every faith in that companies integrity.
basically if you infect my PC - without telling me even - and then go out of your way to prevent me from "disinfecting" it, aka ignoring my wishes as a user, then you clearly possess the mindset/behavior of a literal rapist. you are not what you are supposed to be (an ally/supplier/business partner) but somehow simply taking the best of me.
you don't respect my will = i do not pay you.
