Nothing to mine here to be fair, this is peak retardation.
And retards absolutely loathes metathinking, reflecting, etc.
Sci is supposed to include self-evaluation and self-critic...

Interestingly it's not about data mining, but how to break up online communities. An extract:
>One way to achieve this would be to regularly post content that looks genuine (using the right language, imagery, etc.) yet is meaningless โ€“ this would dilute the message of these boards and make their threads uninteresting, thereby reducing their attractiveness and sense of community.

I suggest a less direct tac that's well within the boundaries of the chronic anti-science shitposting. I've made a thread for it (>>16081340) that is well within demonstrated "acceptable" types of posts, as this one will of course be inevitably pruned if they're being consistent.

Henceforth I suggest we adopt the same rhetoric in labeling and discussing their failures as the anti-science shitposters do.

After all, that's apparently within the rules (;

So? False-flag and Sliding-like has been an ancient tactic. Chans are a sea of crap with a few gold nuggets feeding the dopamine rushes.
/sci/ stff intention has been evident since 2020 (it was mediocre even before that tho). If they don't give tools to improve the "feedback" between users then places like sci are an easy target, it's more about bullying and littering than any real agenda/relevant purpose.

I've assembled a sample json file from the parsed html archives. It's not yet perfect, but we will get there. Can anyone recommend a filehoster?

But you do you, I guess

>Why did Hiro remove the IP counter?
Addresses on Rizon. Because it's useless at catching all but the lamest and rarest of samefagging and because schizo retards were degrading conversation by misinterpreting it -- "hurr, hurr, if a thread with 50 uniques doesn't change to 51, that means the person making me seethe is samefagging."
It's public, and they knew that 4chan schizo spergs would read it. If they're smart, they'd realize that at that point they don't actually have to do any shilling at all, because said schizo spergs will degrade the board for them, as happened with David Brock's CTR group back in 2015-2016.

People talk about the "quality" of this board constantly. That's the lowest quality posting, beneath even the political baiting.

Anonymous No. 16081428

/sci/ is the research arm of /pol/. the main reason why people come here is for scientific proof niggers are stupid.

Anonymous No. 16081432

>>16081428
False. /sci/ are individualists and care about their own IQs. They're not commie /pol/niggers coping with their low individual IQs by living vicariously through average racial IQs.

Anonymous No. 16081437

>>16081432
this. the /sci/ state rejects both 70iq nogs and 70iq rednecks and takes a 120iq nog over an 80iq insider-larp-gullible /pol/tard.

While true it does require a certain complicity on the part of management (or absenteeism) and usually a bit of a nudge. Even if the nudge is merely advertising the group to the nuttiest of nutters.

But you're quite right on the uselessness of the IP counter. People have been asking for poster ID's for years, which would help a tiny bit in that direction, but we still don't even have that. Not that it would really help all that much but it's better than absolutely nothing. Really lets you know what the website thinks of the /sci/ board that you get "absolutely nothing" instead.

Just as an example of what I want to do with it:
Here is a scatterplot of the amount of responses a thread got depending on post time.
Sample size 1000, I just selected the first 1000 threads that I got hold of (there could be a lot of sampling errors)

Sorry, buddy, we're taking a 120IQ nog well before an 80IQ redneck Qnigger or whatever. We'll end up with more whites than nogs anyway, but we're IQ supremacists here. Sorry if that's not to your liking.

the fact that hiro has made all the tedious schizo cunts mad about his decision means it was the right choice. they make 4chan more of a pain in the ass to read than any neckbearded libcunt provocateur thinking he's on a spy mission here. they make me physically sick every time I see their mind-numbing, cookie-cutter, one-dimensional posts about muh shills and muh slide threads and muh idf-posting-in-0.9999...-threads and muh glowies. I hate them so much and hope that hiro keeps making changes that drive the boot into their insufferable gooberism.
