I never cared about outer space until around 2015 when the NH mission happened. Then I became super into space and rockets binge watching Everyday Astronaut and Scott Manley. It reached a fever pitch during covid. Then after that I lost all interest.

As a former SpaceX fanboy think a lot of it was due to being unsatisfied with my own life and also seeing the world go to shit. But then I came to the slow realisation that it was all fantasy, there will never be cities on mars, Elon is a grifter and FTL is impossible.

Non-autistic people realised this decades ago which is why few people care about space travel any more.
