There are two things that will forever be impossible for us to understand: the speed of light and quantum mechanics.
The speed of light simply makes no sense, but it works on paper 100% of the time.
Quantum mechanics cannot be understood because Feynman showed that Quantum Mechanics cannot be calculated by classical computers. Predictions can be made by classical computers, but the actual mechanics of the quantum world cannot be explained or even understood classically. As our brains are classical computers they will forever be incapable of understanding quantum physics. Even if we built a quantum computer that could understand quantum mechanics that computer could not explain it to us.
We will never know.
