good charger and a couple batteries are like 100, and you need diff batteries for diff guns
you just need a tank and regulator for HPA and a compressor can be as cheap as 150 if you just have something small

granted I have an industrial compressor for a nailgun because I'm a handyman, but I also have a much smaller one I use for my airbrush I got for around 100

if you take care of the tank and compressor and don't let them rust etc it will literally last forever while lipos for example can be temperamental, just depends on what you like I guess
I started looking into HPA stuff just recently after getting into the AAP and it's very interesting

only thing you can even do is maybe transplant a better hop up bushing into it (90% is gonna require jerry rigging) and make sure nozzle, piston etc. don't leak air. And that's assuming the entire thing goes back together as intended and you don't get stuck with a bag of gun. Cheap springers are notorious for not being designed for disassembly.

HPAs are less maintenance then GBBRs, the Tippmann HPAs have recoil, you can use regular mags (not the OP propertiery GBBR mags) and some common AEG parts like barrels, hopup buckings and nubs. You just gotta submit to the dog leash, erm air line.

I had the MP7 kit printed for me by a friend, but i stopped using it after one game. It looks cool, but it's a absolute bitch to take apart, and put back together which makes maintenance horrible. I just run it default now and honestly i think that's the best way if you are going for performance in games. Lightweight and compact, and with upgrades it can hop heavy bb's far out. Only visual upgrade i would install is a fire selector if you are planning to use full auto.

My poorfag friend (I'm also poor but he's somehow poorer) wants to play airsoft with me (he did a couple rental games and had a lot of fun)
I'm gonna gift him my spare eyepro but he asked me tips on something as cheap as possible that is still playable and doesn't require expensive maintaining , but I'm not a gun guru since I only play with shitty Cymas (an M14 to be precise)
Considering the local fields are only CQC cause we are in an urban area, would suggesting a Tri-shot shotgun be a good idea? A random cyma or ktw spas/m870 would go for about 50 euros and would make for an efficient if hard to master replica and it would be on the cheap side for eventual repairs since it's just spring and pump

0.2l I think it get's around 300-400 shots. But it all depends on what kind of setup you are running. Like a Mancraft or something that doesn't use a lot of air you can get way more out of it. I only use the small bottle at fields with free refills otherwise it's gonna be a costly experience. For those kind of fields i use a 0.8 bottle in a molle pack on the back of my plate carrier

Why do people wear sooooo much protective shit while playing. I saw a dude in a full on IOTV, with DAPs, neck armor, and groin armor the other weekend. He wasn’t doing a milsim impression kit, I’d at least understand that, he was just wearing all that shit over non-military kind of clothing.
Even people wearing plate carriers that aren’t part of an impression kit seems total overkill for outdoors airsoft. I get maybe a CQB field where somebody might hose you down at close range like a dick, but in the woods it’s just a few hits. I really just am confused when I see people covering every surface of their body with padding. I’m not an especially toughguy or a glutton for paint, but airsoft bbs to the arms/chest/shoulders at most are a momentary flick.

Anonymous No. 118644

>>118627
Is it Environmentally Friendly?

PLA production uses 65% less energy than producing conventional plastics and generates 68% fewer greenhouse gases and contains no toxins. It can be also remain environmentally friendly should the correct end-of-life scenario be followed.

However, the rate of degradation is very slow in ambient temperatures, with a 2017 study showing that there was no degradation seen in over a year of the material being submerged in seawater at 25°C.

However, PLA can be degraded by hydrolysis, thermal degradation or photodegradation:

>Hydrolysis: The molecular weight is reduced by cleaving the ester groups of the main chain
>Thermal Degradation: This process leads to the appearance of different compounds, such as linear and cyclic oligomers or lighter molecules with different lactide and Mw
>Photodegradation: UV radiation causes degradation, particularly where PLA is exposed to sunlight

There are currently four common end-of-life scenarios for PLA:
>1. Recycling
This is either chemical or mechanical. Waste material can hold contaminants, but ployactic acid can be chemically recycled using thermal depolymerisation or hydrolysis to create a monomer that can then be manufactured into virgin PLA. PLA can also be chemically recycled using transesterification to create methyl lactate.

>2. Composting
Industrial composting conditions allow for chemical hydrolysis followed by microbial digestion to degrade the PLA.

oh kek i'm retarded.
Well pace is definitely different. Woodlands people have a tendency to just sit still and wait people out and it ends up with both teams just waiting for someone to move, and it's hard to play aggressive because again people just sit and wait for someone to enter their crosshairs. Though it is fun when you manage to get around them and can pick off like 5+ guys at the same time. Also most of these fields at least here allow full auto which i think is lame. Also these sites also have many new people often and they have a tendency to be scared and sit all the way back, and they aren't easy to motivate to move forwards.

I prefer the adrenaline rush you get from CQB where there's pretty much constant action, and because it's semi you can actually make runs without being lit up by some dumbass with a ROF of like 30+ Also i know "speedsofters" gets a bad rep, but honestly they seem to be way more chill than woodlands people, and i haven't really had issues with people not calling their hits.
pic related is the field i was at this sunday. To force people to move you aren't allowed to enter the buildings which i think is a pretty good rule

What are the game types? Where I play, there are buildings everywhere but nobody camps because that's recipe for losing. Even sniping is limited because you'll only have 1 lane to snipe, and people can just cross it quick.

I need your wisdom /asg/, i have an ics cxp 15 and a well mb 05, they're both 6/7 years old, how much can i resell them?
The ics had some use so it has some superficial marks and it needs to be oiled up inside, while the Well was basically a dust collector and works perfectly, it only has some factory defects like the magazine not staying right in perfect place and the safe/fire selector being broken, but it has a legit hunting scope and bipod which can add some value i guess.
Jow much can i milk of of them /asg/?
I'm thinking at least 300 € for both would be a good deal.

Yeah there's a big difference between "environmentally friendly" and "biodegradable"
It won't biodegrade in natural settings, it's still a plastic that's gonna sit there forever

I think you're being too optimistic. You're essentially saying these guns are years old, partly broken and need some teching, for somewhat under new pricing. But nothing ventured, nothing gained. No harm in putting it out there and seeing who bites.

>What are the game types?
On the left field, it's deathmatch games or kill confirmed. On the field on the right we play deathmatch and a mode where you have to raise flags. Sometimes we play on both fields at the same time as well. But it is mostly short 10-15 game modes we play, or something they like to call "5 fast" where basically if you are shot, you go down to the other respawn and wait until one team doesn't have more people on them, and we immediately start again. I like that one the most. Many airsoft fields have a tendency to have long brakes inbetween games, so it's nice to have something where it's just games stacked on games.

Sweet kit. The Jap team is always fucking great when we play. Since the Germans and Japs are overrepresented we usually end up having to play some games against each other.

If I'm going to restore a barely used but old and dried up low-end AEG, what should my shopping list be? The gearbox is caked in nasty ass cheap yellow dried up grease and every barrel component has gunk in it.

Grease, new o-rings, and bushing and/or nozzle maybe? I also already have shims

What's the best deal in regards to a basic US Army M4 with accurate features?

GBB preferred but if the AEG is significantly cheaper (AKA magazines availability) that works too.
