I just made this form for a bench/ledge. I'm going to pour it, finish it, coat the fuck out of it in lacquer and then just put it in a random place on the street near my house. About 20 inches high and 5 feet long. I would have made it longer but it would have been too heavy to carry.

Anonymous No. 122910

>>122909
Also I might make it shorter, like 16 inches. What's the best height for a ledge? The funny thing is I don't even skate street, I'm the bowl guy, I just like the idea of making a sick spot that I can see people skate and get some satisfaction from that. Also going to use fibreglass rebar instead of steel to make it lighter but it's a fine balance between being heavy enough that it will stay in one spot when skating and light enough that I can actually move it somewhere. Definitely going to need a buddy to help me get it in and out of my truck once it's poured.

Ok so as you walk in on your right there's a bar that sells only the corest of beers - PBR, coors and bud. No faggy white claws or any of that nu-male shit. To your left is a wall of decorative cardiel boards. Not for sale, just for show. There is also a small shrine where true skateboarders can pay their respects to the king while drinking their brews. AHC in huge neon letters above the boards (all hail Cardiel motherfuckers). You keep going and there's a small clothes section with only the essentials - dickies, pendleton, vans and a few anti hero/thrasher shirts that have been pre-worn by the grindline crew so they already have concrete stains on them. Keep going a little bit further and there is a massive Independent feature but it's only old stock with the iron cross logo. These trucks sell for a minimum of $90 each, don't touch unless you're gonna buy, bud. And right at the end there's the checkout where i've hired Andy Roy himself to man the register. If you wanna buy from my store you gotta get heckled by the snuggle bandit himself to purchase our shit.

Good selection of gear, shop and core brand clothes on sale, chairs and a tv so you can hang out and watch skate videos, miniramp in the back. A couple of sample items you can try out (maybe like 4 or 5 complete boards of different types so you can get a sense of what some shit skates like before you pay for it). A coffee machine or beer or something so the people who just want to hang out for a bit actually buy something.

But most importantly: good fucking staff. Seriously, a shop could have the biggest selection of shit ever but if they don't feel welcoming I never want to go back. dani virginity status?

Anonymous No. 123020

>>123018
Some people believe that an in-depth vaginal exam by a medical professional can confirm whether a girl is a virgin. But, not even an examination by a doctor can confirm if a girl has had sex in the past. Don't fool yourself into trying some sort of trick or evaluation. Everyone's bodies are so different. One myth is that if a girl's hymen is intact, she is still a virgin. The hymen is a thin mucous membrane of skin that surrounds or partially covers the opening to the vagina. During sexual intercourse the hymen can sometimes break and tear, causing some pain and light bleeding, but many girls don't have this happen at all. The hymen can also break through a lot of other means, such as vigorous sports like bike riding or gymnastics, using tampons, or through growth and development of her body. Some people believe that all girls will bleed the first time they have sex. This is a myth and really depends on a girl's physical makeup, her level of arousal, and other factors like using lubricants.
Here are ways you can tell if a girl has lost virginity:
Once you are a certain age, you likely have had sex. This is true to any extent. Some girls and guys lose their virginity when they are tennagers while others have it happen earlier.
A girl looks different after she has sex. Girls who are sexually active look different to girls who are virgins. There is no way to know why but by looking at her (i.e., her breasts grow larger, she walks differently, etc.).
A girl who is a virgin is shy or a prude. Many guys and girls wouldn't be surprised at which people are virgins and which are not. Many girls who date a lot, have boyfriends and are known as flirts are not virgins.
A girl will seem to know more about sex after losing her virginity. Many behaviors may change after one has had sex, this is the same for everyone. This is especially true after the first time as there are so many unknowns about sex until you have had sex for the first time.

It's actually harder to lose balance while moving as opposed to stationary because you have the forward momentum stopping your board from slipping backwards as you crouch down.

Honestly it's 90% confidence. Try to do some off a path onto grass, try doing some cavemans, try that thing where you put the board upside down on top of your feet and flip it over as you hop on top, try rolling off a curb at speed so you get some airtime. And get used to letting your knees bend and your body get closer to the ground as you land. It'll keep you balanced and save your ass from slams.

Yeah, what the fuck even is "skater culture" as a whole?

It's not as bad as it used to be, but I'm not a fan of the whole Baker, "become an addict on the teetering edge of dysfunctionality" thing because it fucking ruins so many people's lives the second their career takes a dip or they get a bad injury. Plus it's one thing to be a high school dropout because you want to skate THAT much, but it's another to take the extra step and actively make yourself a obnoxious, dumb party guy on top of that.

It was pretty funny to see some of those guys get salty at pic related.

>>123046
Speaking of: poor fucking Muska has knee problems and a herniated disc he's too scared to get surgery on. He picked both of them up after going through a big drunk party guy phase then skating too hard to make up for lost time. It's stopped him from skating for years. And now, like 3 weeks ago, he got hyped at some bowl session, went to whip out a Muska flip, and broke his fucking ankle.

yes, switch for me would be doiing a trick with a left foot pedal forward instead of my right foot pedal forward. some people do this for tricks like 'lookbacks' or weird grind variations.

opposite would be to grind on your non-dominat side or spin in your non-dominant direction.

there is no front/backside becuase you face forward when youre moving... i suppose it would make sense to call an air a backside air if you turn/hip in your non dominant direction... maybe an alleyoop could be considered a backside air?

Park near my work got a sick new setup. They paved over the crust and added a bunch of low benches in this like concrete gully. Super easy to chain lines but the concrete is super slick and it’s really fast.

The locals there are cool. At my main park there’s this autistic or mentally challenged kid who is super fucking annoying. He runs up and gets right in ur face and will ask you how to do rock to fakies, then he doesn’t even listen to you and just rides away. there was this one guy that used to show up at my local - fat short dude that would always bring beer and weed and wouldn't skate. he would kind of be friendly but just be obnoxious watching everyone else skate.

always trying to smoke out 15/16 year olds and would hit on the younger girls. smelled like absolute shit - the fat alcoholic smell.

the park rangers kept telling him to leave because he was a creepy ass pedophile but he would always just show up the next day.

one day one of the OG park skaters almost ended his life, grabbed his shitty board and snapped it and basically pushed him out of the park grounds.

haven't seen him since.

i hate 'nike' as much as anyone but their skate shoes are literally the best I've owned because the rubber has a good amount of grip and doesn't wear out nearly as fast as everything else. My only complaint is that the tread pattern squeaks all the time which is fuckin annoying.

I got like two pairs of these from goodwill and both were the most amazing shoe ever. so identify them as the busenitz (was i correct?) and then order a pair off adidas.com and they come in with a huge heel which i was hoping would just flatten out. they did not compress and theyre incredibly uncomforatble. does anyone else have the same complaint?
