Why is this happening? Does science have any idea or are they too low IQ to figure it out?
>in 1971 Richard Nixon declared "the war on cancer"
>53 years later, after spending trillions of dollars on research, cancer is worse than it ever has been before
Why did it end up this way?
The scientists all said they could figure cancer out and find a cure for it

How do Chinese (and to a lesser extent Japanese, Korean, and Asian-American) scientists reconcile their traditional beliefs with the scientific method?
European and North American scientists readily discarded concepts like the bloodletting and the four humors once they no longer became supported by scientific discoveries. But a majority of Chinese still use TCM and believe in concepts like qi.
Dear GOD/GODS and/or anyone else who can HELP ME (e.g. TIME TRAVELERS or MEMBERS OF SUPER-INTELLIGENT ALIEN CIVILIZATIONS): The next time I wake up, please change my physical form to that of FINN MCMILLAN formerly of SOUTH NEW BRIGHTON at 8 YEARS OLD and keep it that way FOREVER. I am so sick of this chubby Asian man body! Thank you! - CHAUL JHIN KIM (a.k.a. A DESPERATE SOUL)
Is it cognitive dissonance? Do Chinese scientists have an "on/off" switch when they enter the lab? Or do they disbelieve their own results and simply use science as a way to get ahead in life?

I find that engineering lectures common on YouTube are significantly overrated compared to American-accented and UK-accented content on YouTube, especially when considering the ratio of conveyed information. Many india lectures convey information with less clarity, and their lecturing styles are cookie-cutters

Why do amerimutts use regional and not systemic approach to anatomy? Are they simply retarded? Is this why they have African-tier healthcare system despite such high wages? I'm terrified, there's literally the only one normal anatomy textbook in English and it's from 2007.

Boy do I love my diesel truck!
I am able to drive up hills at the same speed as gas-trucks, but I do it better because torque!
I also love how, despite my efforts to make a ridiculous post, the preceding paragraph is welcoming to tards who don't realize how ridiculous it is.

What is going to be the next global disaster? Is it going to be another pandemic, or maybe a giant tsunami like in 2004 or 2011, or a nuclear meltdown, or maybe yellowstone will explode, or an asteroid impact perhaps? It seems like something pretty bad happens every 10 years or so.
Is it possible to work out the probability of such a thing occurring in some timeframe? I found these pages, but I couldn't see any kind of list of probabilities

Anyone here self-studied chemistry to a reasonably advanced level? I'm four years out of a math+compsci degree and still can't get any pussy, so I'm thinking of taking up chemistry in my spare time. If that's (you), what resources have you found best, and what have you learned to avoid?

𧡠Clearing out myths and superstitions regarding color theory
Anonymous at Fri, 15 Mar 2024 20:28:34 UTC No. 16079845
What are the primary colors?
>The primary colors are Red, Green, Blue, get it straight you dingus, your eyes are engineered to perceive Red light, Green light and Blue light, Yellow and Magenta and Cyan are colors that happen when both cones of different types are triggered and not a single one, thus making them secondary colors
Why do people say Magenta is an illusory color?
>People are wrong to assume that Magenta is special in that regard, Yellow and Cyan are also illusions if we speak from the logic that they're just perceptions that happen when two cones are triggered, Red and Green for Yellow, Blue and Green for Cyan
Why is RYB still a popular color template if they aren't the primary colors?
>At this point those color models are only kept due to tradition rather than because they are actual primaries, they are outdated since we know that Yellow is not a primary color
Why do people seem to disagree on Cyan being a shade of Blue?
>For years people mistakenly thought that Cyan is light blue while the real Blue is called dark blue or indigo, the reason for this was because Cyan was considered the true Blue for years and pure Blue was considered dark blue/indigo for years, but more people are starting to recognize that they are different colors now
What is the opposite of Green?
>The opposite of Green is Magenta, and not Red as many people still believe these days
What is the opposite of Blue?
>It's Yellow, and not Orange or Red who are more opposites to Azure and Cyan
Is brown its own color?
>No, brown is literally just a dark shade of Orange, people believe that brown light cannot exist when it is as simple as contrasting orange light to make it appear that way

I hear a lot about IQ in science, but can someone give me pointers how I can tell someone's IQ in practice? For example I watched this guy who has an IQ of 70 and in practice he just sounds like a coherent, self-aware, logical dude: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjD
