Hey guys, I've been looking for a new wallpaper and my friend sent me here. I'm a big fan of really early CGI, especially stuff with early Ray Tracing. I've been trying to find new wallpapers for my phone that fit this theme but nothing has come up that's been a high enough resolution, or really grabbed my attention.

I just read a twitter thread where a gaymer with deep vision problems gives tips to improve accessibility in indie games.

Now I realize that my niche market for my idea of using art that is easy to make and crappy looking can be focused on that niche of gaymers, those who are blind and have low vision problems.

In 3ds Max, I can make in a few minutes an antropomorphic skeleton that walks, jumps and gets hit by a large object using biped, footsteps and ragdoll. Is there a plugin or addon that allows me to do that as quicly and easily in blender?

Is this good foundation to become 3d artist? My skill level in 2D is similar to Pic related.
I'm currently working unrelated job in customer support, so I'm considering just becoming a generalist 3d artist, and eventually combine 2d and 3d for concept art when I become better at both.
What courses would be best to start with? I've got some basic understanding of 3d software as I've used both zBrush Maya and even 3dsMax, and even made a short rigging animation in the past.
I've got like 4-5 months to become half decent for junior position, as my company got laid off.

Novice Blender user here. I tried to use a mirror modifier on half of a subdivided cube, and when I do it mirrors it at a distance instead of completing the mesh. How to fix?

I've mirrored things many times and never ran into this issue before. When I try to google the issue, all I get are posts about the mirror modifier not working at all, which is not the problem here. Any thoughts?
