Is there an optimal way of tackling a list of responsibilities / chores? Can I science my way out of procrastination?

🧵 Why do marxoids claim to love science and yet when they talk about primates they only care for apes

Apes are literally the "I heckin love science" animal relative to these faggots. There is never any scientific love for macaques, and I think I know why. Macaques have the funky looking skull but look way more white than a gorilla.
I asked a science loving leftoid about crab eating macacos once and he just paused at me with a big frown and called them straight up vermin. I wonder if he has any macaque torture porn in his stash

Redpill me on looking at the eclipse. These are just junk right?
I don't plan on staring just having a quick peak when its in totality. Will I fuck my eyes? People hundreds and thousands of years ago didn't have sun glasses, why are we obsessed with eclipse safety?
🧵 Can you solve this /sci/?

I don't have eclipse glasses. How can I use science to look at the sun today without glasses? I have $3, my laptop, and a few paper clips. Nearest store is 20 miles away and my car isn't getting picked up until Wednesday.
Worst comes to worst I think i can focus on the moon until it blocks the sun to protect my eyes but I want to know other ideas.

As a reminder for photographing celestial events:
- Set camera to Pro
- ISO=contrast. Lower contrast so bright objects appear more "flat"
- Raise brightness to compensate
And repeat steps 2&3 until satisfied. Keep your eyes safe and enjoy the eclipse!

At least one of the following statements must be true, but they can also not both be true:
>1. "The plural of anecdote is data."
>2. "The plural of anecdote is not data."
Which is it, and why? If anecdotes are data, can anyone prove anything by just saying it? How does the existence of lies play into it if anecdotes are data? And if they are not data, how can we know anything about the human mind at all? Beliefs, attitudes, moods, feelings, mental events. Even neuroscience relies on anecdotes, people reporting about their mental states while they are observing associated brain states, and so forth. Indeed, if anecdotes are not data, we can not even know that people hallucinate when they take LSD, because their anecdotal report that they do is not data, it is not information about reality in any way, shape, or form if anecdotes are categorically not data.
So whatever is the case, it seems like a paradox. Have the scientists or the philosophers of science figured this out yet?
