What should these components be named?

"I think human consciousness is a tragic misstep in human evolution. We became too self aware; nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself. We are creatures that should not exist by natural law. We are things that labor under the illusion of having a self, a secretion of sensory experience and feeling, programmed with total assurance that we are each somebody, when in fact everybody’s nobody. I think the honorable thing for our species to do is deny our programming, stop reproducing, walk hand in hand into extinction, one last midnight, brothers and sisters opting out of a raw deal."

Has science ever investigated or discovered an explanation for the extremely high suicide rate amongst atheists?
You would expect a group of people who don't believe in reincarnation or life after death to have a low suicide rate, so the high suicide rate amongst atheists seems to defy rationality, is atheism irrational?

🧵 Analytical chemistry resources

Anonymous No. 16057315

Well anons I larped my way into a job as an Analytical Chemist, doing GCMS, HPLC, and so on. I inflated my experience on the resume like everybody does, the actual fact is that I basically did one ochem lab each on these things and that was years ago. I have some research lab experience but I didn't really do any of this kind of thing there. Where should I go to study up on this stuff so I don't get fired in 3 days after it becomes obvious I don't know what the fuck? Any good youtube channels, university lectures, online-available textbooks, etc? I know every machine and software system is a little different anyway so I'm not as stressed about the specifics of that stuff, I just want to brush up on my fundamentals.

What if the big bang was our set of fields smacking into another set of fields outside our universe, causing a massive excitation of all the fields creating all the matter and energy in our universe?

Like 2 big sheets of metal having their broad sides smacked against each other, producing a thunderous clang.

Rate my idea.

🧵 Science and Math of getting a gf

Anonymous No. 16057300

I've chosen pic rel because it is probably the most appealing picture of a woman that I have: dark hair, covered skin, and good proportions.
I never really bothered with girls in high school, I was always busy with my other interests. But then I developed the habit of chronic masturbation and the idea of sex with a woman become very appealing likely due to biology. Recently I decided to try an attempt to display interest in a woman and it went like this (this is all based on past experience and media I've consumed).
>be me
>see anonette from class, she is not overly attractive but has proportions which are biologically desirable for human copulation
>"Hi anonette, I've decided to express interest in you, would you like that?"
>*laughs at me* *her friends laugh at me too* "that's kind of weird anon, sorry but I have a boyfriend"
>say ok and then leave after the failure to sale
I had a sales job over the summer so I thought a lot about the theory of selling. I used to be too anxious to talk to people before, but after I calculated that I have never died from embarrassment before then dying from it is probably impossible. Also I learned from other women telling me that you should not be so direct and ask women for sex, nor should you touch women like they do in the movies especially not in the so called "private areas." I was surprised I never learned this stuff in school, it was never in any book.
So I'm trying to develop a mathematical and scientific theory on how to optimize getting a gf.
