The human psyche must exist in a state where every aspect of his surroundings he must only be able to measure against himself. A definite picture of something must be measured in the mind on a basis of scales. I must know how big a boulder is, I must know how big a pebble is if I cannot know the size of something in relation to myself, then I don't understand its' size. This is true for meter sticks. If I say I do when I couldn't then I'm only guessing.
This enters the comparative trouble with the psyche. We only compare others to ourselves. Thus, everything you love and hate, desire and fear, think and didn't remember until now we look at the person in front of us, and then we look at ourselves. That's all we can do. That's all we can ever do. Ever. Woe is me. Woe are we. Alone but one, ones, one at a time. Tearful tragedy, for sure.

Quantum mechanics cannot be calculated by a classical computer.
Your mind is the perception of your brain, which is a classical computer.
Thus, whatever it is, if you can imagine it, then it's not quantum mechanics.

What was it? Meanwhile I've heard of one experiment where people published literally garbage science-like text without meaning and got published on most prestige journals. But this dude was rejected with such an innovative discovery, while westerners got all credits and money. What do you think about it /sci/?

Did you know that if you concentrate all mass of this universe into a black hole, then its Schwarzschild radius equals the hubble radius, meaning the resulting black hole would have the same size as our universe?
And that's why time exists. Time is the gravitational pull of the black hole we're living in.
We're falling deeper and deeper, not in a geographic sense but in a temporal.
But somehow we keep pretending it's not a case and our universe in an unsolved mystery.

Anonymous at Mon, 17 Jun 2024 22:32:15 UTC No. 16240068
Imagine that you take a snapshot of the universe and call it a ”state”. The history of the universe can then be imagined as a sequence of these states akin to how a movie is made up of a sequence of still pictures.
Pick one of these states at random and ask yourself: ”Does this random state have a state that precedes it?”. The answer for the overwhelming majority of states is yes. All states but the very first state has something before it.
This means that the super dense state (the big bang) that existed earlier likely was not the start of the universe. There was likely an even earlier causal chain that gave rise to the big bang. So basically any theory of everything that does not deal with pre-big bang cosmologies can be confirmed to be false with near certainty.
Thoughts? Note that I’m not a christtranny trying to imply god so please don’t derail to that.
