Why are there no 3d comic books?

Do most NSFW model makers and animators use Rigify for their model interface?
Is it really good enough to get the job done vs. making your own rig with bone drivers and constraints? It seems a little too good to be true.

How do people achieve high quality animations? Like vibrant colours, mimicking of sweat and just overall aesthetically strong visuals?
All my models + texturing end up being flat.

So I've been playing with 3D for a week now as I have always wanted to gain insight in 3D modeling (By profession I am IT sysadmin). I thought it would be cool to convert my IRL friends or myself to 3D Model, fully rigged so I could use it to pose with Shrek or in Gmod or something.
How can I achieve it quickly without manually sculpting? I don't wanna be an artist so I would like to take shortcuts.
I've seen some Blender addons for human creation. Will they help me achieve what I want?

hey /3/anons ive been trying to get into anime style characters for like a year now so I can put them in my environment art and probably smut too and im getting close to actually finishing a character now
the rig is only like half existing right now and ill put some work into some details still but I could make some use of some first glance feedback now

Hello, new to 3D and want to work on getting some low poly models for gamedev.
I did download some but they have lots of faces and I want to aim for the Killer7 style.
So any help please? I was making this yesterday based on a reference sketch I made but I am unable to continue and I fucked up the hand and basically everything.
