🗑️ 🧵 Why do they have to wait to recover the 4 dead people under the collapsed bridge?

"...the Francis Scott Key Bridge, destroying the vital thoroughfare and killing six construction workers. Four of their bodies have not been found. Crews will try to work quickly so the search for the missing victims can resume and a cargo channel critical to the local and national economies can reopen, authorities said..."
The location of the bodies for pretty easy to estimate after talking with the 2 workers that survived. If so, what is the reason for not recovering the bodies now from a salvage engineering standpoint?

If the 3 phases of AC are all the same voltage curve shifted by 2 pi/3 with respect to each other does that mean that, theoretically, touching all 3 phases at once provides no voltage difference at all?
I realise this is not possible in practice but I'm just trying to validate my understanding.

Why did people on different sides of the world (Greece and China) both think earth, water, and fire are basic elemental building blocks of matter? Water I can maybe see, but you can just look at earth and see it's made of disparate, heterogeneous matter. And fire isn't even a physical thing.

Why is physics designed to be so fucking hard? All the questions hide the parameters behind multiple factors where you have to set multiple equations backwards and do substitutions to find the answer, like it's a goddamn puzzle box or sudoku or some shit Nothing is alowed to be straightforward. I swear my online textbook is intentionally phrasing things to be as confusing as possible instead of using direct terminology. Shit is pissing me off
