Can /sci/ give me a quick red pill on induction cookers? I have an induction cooker in my kitchen and I'm worried about its potential harmful effects. I know the magnetic fields can disrupt to currents in your heart and cause fibrillations when you're standing too close. What about neurological disruptions? And can the electromagnetic induction cause electrolysis in the food itself in the pan, transforming harmless salts into toxic products?

🧵 Academia has always been bad
Anonymous at Fri, 28 Jun 2024 10:07:27 UTC No. 16257906
I thought those cult-like behaviors were recent. However, from listening this interview of Brian Keating, I realized that academia has always been tribal and dismissive toward anything they deem "not trendy" and "heretical". This guy David Albert almost got sacked from his PhD by his own physics department because he wanted to research a topic that were forbidden at the time. Not even right, not even wrong, not even a religous topic in a physics department, it's just that the topic wasn't trendy: shut up and calculate dominated at the time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciL
imagine all the cults in science: climate change alarmism, gender studies, gender queer bullshit... we have now. how worse it is compared to 50 years ago. I realize that maybe not, maybe it has always been this way and the reason we're making a fuss out of it is because it's starting to affect our daily lives.

https://wiki.naturalphilosophy.org/
"This wiki provides a place where current physics and cosmology theory can be openly challenged, and new and serious philosophies, theories, and models can be proposed without being labeled "pseudo science". Here you will find the scientists, books, scientific papers, websites, and organizations that are on the forefront of fixing today's broken science.
We do not allow for everyone in the public to edit this wiki. Consensus editing is not working. More often then not, solid criticisms and alternatives are relegated to pseudo-science on the simple fact that they are not supported by the mainstream. This of course is not logical. New ideas as never accepted instantaneously. New ideas take time to take hold. This is the knowledge repository for those new ideas and criticisms."

Ok let’s see what Elon musk true intentions are when it comes to rockets and space.
NASA/goverment = wasteful spending
Private = conservative spending
This is why Elon is creating a “RESUABLE” rocket
>What about star link?
