Is there any pastebin pasta on which is the best tool at every step of the workflow like:

>Rendering (NPR/Photorealism)
>PBR texturing
>Modelling (hard surface)
>Tree generation
>Human basemeshes generation
>Sculpting
>Set dressing (something like clarisse)
>Plants creation
>Fluids/Smoke/Volumetrics
>Particles/VFX
>Compositing
>Kitbashing
>Cloth creation
>Leather stuff (purses, shoes) generation
>Cars modelling
>Architecture modelling/generation
>Procedural generation
>Non human characters like dogs/cats
>Rigging
>Animation for games
>Mocap (kinect capture, cleaning up)
>UV
>Retopo
>Terrains
>Generator
>Color Grading

So far these are all the cathegories I wanna know the best 3D tool, but also including plugins.

Does anyone have good tutorials on the process of making robots? I see nothing but small techniques scattered around on youtube but never a full blown process video that explains the thought process used to make said machinery/robots.
People always say to use simple block-ins but how am I suppose to breakdown something like pic related?
I just wanna make cool robo knights

You can tell I don't use blender. Most of them are paid for except for photoshop, maya and houdini. You are a faggot if you give even 1 cent to these greedy corporation. You are even more of a faggot if you use blender, especially if you are Cris.

Autodesk has bought LoUPE/Tangent Labs, the integrated production pipeline tools built initially around Blender for the needs of Tangent Animation.

What is the process for creating ground clutter like in this render? The rocks, the dirt, the rubble, specifically.

Decals/atlases with displacement maps? Photo scans? Tessellation materials?

Getting the randomness and making everything fit together feels like a big challenge if done manually, which makes me think a lot of it is done with procedural materials. Couldn't really find any good info on the process of this type of environment work.

New to sculpting here. Has anyone on this board tried out adobe medium? I've been trying it out since I enjoy the feeling of manipulating the object with my own hands. Do you think there are some advantages to it, or is it just a toy?

I used 3dmax from 2000-2005 back when there was literally no documentation anywhere. I switched to Maya when I went to college and the transition was completely painless. Now I am about to switch to Blender because I want to do commercial work and refuse to face a potential lawsuit or give shekels to the autojew.

Anyone who says "lol work in blender automatically sucks" I'm not doing AAA work for the avengers here, I'm making shitty youtube animation and I am not giving any Jews a cent that I don't have to.

I can probably figure everything else out but this, because it is something that I never really tackled in Maya or my brief experimentation with Houdini: How do you make large scale particle effects in Belnder?

If you guys are freaking out over what program you use and are not doing AAA++ work for 300+ million dollar budget films you are a shitty artist sorry. Straight up.

What's the best way for a complete beginner to learn Blender?
I have some experience with parametric modeling like Autodesk and Solidworks, but Blender's interface is completely foreign to me. I open it up and I have no idea where to start, very unintuitive.
What tutorials would you guys recommend if my main use for Blender would be modelling buildings, furniture, etc. to later be used in a game?
