Hello fellow anons I want to start a debate on c4d and blender.
First question which one is superior??
Can you combine the two in a workflow and use them both to make quality kino?
If yes how would you use them both?

Hey cunts, pixel over 0.8 was released today and now has basic 3D support.
I made this sprite with a mario 64 model, trying to test a rpg maker 2003 character.
So far It works pretty well.

How can I keep another object on top of the array modifier without joining it to the mesh?
I'm making a building and the floors are added to the array. But how can i keep the roof of the building move up every time i add a floor????

On this scale, I am left of 1.
I can rotate the apple in my mind. I can slice it, peel it, smash it, see the texture of the skin, the porosity of the flesh. I can imagine scenes of many apples tumbling around in a box, running through machines to make them into apple sauce. I want to create what I see in my mind, so I open up 3D software, and I can't make it. It takes way too long. I don't have the patience to make 1/10th of the detail I can see in my mind. By the time I get some armature set up or model a human ear, I have 10 other ideas that I want to make. I have started over 500 projects in the past 4 years and finished 0. What am I supposed to do? Can I download a studio on cgpeers?

My animations feel lifeless. I'm still learning the ropes but I can pose my characters perfectly enough.
But when I animate them they become soulless looking. If let's say my character needs to do a V with her fingers, although I can animate the transition from a closed fist to a V, the rest of my model looks like trash.
The other parts of my character's body look stationary, how do I figure out these secondary movments that'll make my animation look better?
I also can't figure out at what intervals to keyframe my character. They either go too fast or too slow. I'm pulling my hair out and I want to git gud at animating :(

So I'm wanting to learn rigging and animation for games. What I don't yet understand is how animations relate to each other when holding weapons. For a 3rd person game, I need to animate walking, jogging, and running in all 8 directions, do I need to create new animations when the character is holding a pistol for walking, jogging, and running? Or can the upper half somehow be blended?
