I watched some video to learn the basics of 3d modeling so i can start because i didnt even know how to do anything and then made pic related.
I took like 15 minutes and made a humanoid thing out of araund 20 cubes with symmetry on and i realized that most models have thousands if not tens of thousands of cubes and i thought about how long it would take me to make a decent looking model and realized it would probably take me weeks if not months to finish 1 good 3d model you all have so much patience to do this stuff.

You can learn some pretty basic skills and get by making some convincing stuff with tutorials within months but there are some anons on here who insist it will take years. For you newfags please don't get discouraged by this. Keep practicing.

Have been learning to use Auto Rig Pro for blender. My goal has been to make a character creation system using segmented VROID models in Unreal. I am not able to get past binding without this error. Any help anons? I am of course researching on my own(I google the error-nada) and asking elsewhere but I am stumped. I just need this breakthrough and then I will be able to fly in my game production.

My Maya.env file is not working at all. In C:\Users\user\Documents\maya\2022\Maya.env I set the path to the plugin, but when I start maya and type
>getenv MAYA_PLUG_IN_PATH;
in script editor my edits simply are not there. It just has the default paths. What should I do?

Additionally, when I go to bookmark a folder in the "Open" dialog it will not save and show up again after I restart maya.

when i sculpt my character and switch from my numpad views (profile and front view), my sculpt looks drastically different in its freestyle perspective view; there is so much distortion.

i watch youtube vids of sculptors that don’t have this issue at all. is my lens fucked or what? it’s set at 50mm by default but even at 80mm it still has the same problem. what lens should i be using?. or how do i fix this? should i be ignoring the numpad views and just work in the freestyle perspective view? or is it the other way around?

It's my first time constructing a building, but I think I fucked up bad with it. I had trouble with the grid snapping in Blender, it's random for me and most of the time doesn't snap to correct length. Pivot on objects start to go off aswell, they're not central. I only managed to make decent windows, bevel it and that.
Picrel is supposed to be Shibuyas Starbucks building in Tokyo, with the planes being glass and some digital ad screens.
How do you activate local transform so I can work with different rotations other than 0, 90 and 180?
