Will we forget our mothers if we live long enough? How’s is this, /sci/?

>planet of the right size forms in the goldilocks zone around a star of the right type
>the planet has some CO2 in it's atmosphere
>carbon based life develops in the only way possible, by consuming the CO2 out of the atmosphere via photosynthesis
>all of the CO2 gets consumed before intelligent life can develop and the life on the planet dies out due to CO2 starvation
how many times has this cycle been repeated out in the universe?
is this pattern of evens why there aren't any aliens?

pretending that all of one's intelligence could be summed up in one number, what is the bare minimum. Not even sure of the criteria but in my experience it's like even the simplest of things require some smarts. Forget physics, wiping your ass is something people have trouble with
🧵 ZFC Inconsistency
Anonymous at Mon, 24 Jun 2024 04:08:34 UTC No. 16250332
>a turing machine has been designed that would halt if it ever found a contradiction in ZFC
>it would take far far FAR more particles than are in the observable universe to build a computer capable of implementing this algorithm before heat death
>it is beyond the capabilities, not just for humanity now, but of any sapient race in our universe whatsoever to actually find out if ZFC is consistent (let alone sound)
How do you cope with the knowledge that all mathematics is ultimately built on a house of cards?
ZFC may be inconsistent and we simply don't know. We NEVER will know.

Why hasn't xenotransplantion of animal testicles in humans been attempted? Instead of trt you could transplant baboon testicles quite easily via keyhole surgery where they transplant kidneys as it doesn't need to be reproductively active just needs access to blood to dump hormones, it's a non vital organs so the stakes are low for rejection, people have survived months with pig hearts

Out of curiosity, what would a world holding a lesser amount of people be like?
I'm considering a hypothetical idea of a world holding about 3-6 billion people, and I wish to see with 3 billion, but it would be impossible what with the referral to rapid developments.
I'm thinking hard on this by the way, but there would be alot of problems what with the world and issues,but with some good parts, pros and cons basically.

Tell me, why don't we just fill with compressed air the spaces from where we extracted natural gases. With the surplus energy from solar plants and other energy sources.
When air is released, it can power electric turbines.

My retarded ass can't comprehend the mutarotation of glucose even if my life depended on it. I can't understand it reading from books, internet or even chatgpt. You retards are my only hope.
>mutarotation is the variation of the capability of glucose to rotate polarized light
Is this variation due simply to the alpha and beta configurations of the closed form of glucose, or do the L and D configurations of the linear molecule also have something to do with it?
I guess what I'm trying to ask is:
>a-glucose <-> D-glucose <-> L-glucose <-> b-glucose
or
>a-glucose <-> D-glucose <-> b-glucose
