Science is when you buy 200 doctors for 4 billion dollars who will lie for you for 15 years.
Are you denying blood tests anon? Are you a science denier? Are you smarter than 200 doctors? Do you have a peer reviewed study about Theranos scamming the public?
What I am trying to tell you: There are at least 20 different Theranos level scams going on in the scientific world right now and you believe all of them. You think those are real because a lot of schills in labcoats telling you that. You dont really care about real science. You just listen to propsganda.

Explain to me why we can't go to Mars?
Let's say money and will is not an issue only the technical question.
We have rockets to take people to space we can send space probes to Mars why is it unsolvable to put 2 and 2 together and say next time we send a bot to Mars we use one of our human rockets instead.

You literally CAN'T know the one way speed of light.
You can't measure the speed of light going in one direction.
Most people think the speed of light is ~300km/s, but that is a stipulation.
In fact, if the speed of light were infinite in one direction and 1/2C in the other, it still work perfectly with relativity per Einstein.

🧵 Can someone explain to me how decaying the vacuum really works?
Anonymous at Mon, 14 Oct 2024 15:22:59 UTC No. 16431078
Hey, so like, i have an idea which may be able to cause vacuum decay. It's a new technology which could be very powerful but based on my understanding of vacuum decay there is a chance it could decay the vacuum.
I need to be careful to not accidentally explain to you how to make this technology if it can in fact do that. In fact, if it can do this, i should *probably* kill myself.
So uhh, if somebody could create a more perfect vacuum than deep space, could that cause vacuum decay?
Or is more than that required to decay the vacuum? Like, would i need to make a vacuum that not only no particles fall into it, but also no electromagnetic radiation? Would that do it?
Or i suppose a better way to put it is, if i created a region that was devoid of all particles and all electromagnetic radiation, could that decay the vacuum or do you think it's safe to do that?

two charged particles of opposite sign orbiting eachother, like the electron and the proton in the atom,
do not radiate away energy in the EM field because "i said so ok?! it just is!"
BUT they DO radiate away energy is graviational waves, as we see in two black holes orbiting eachother.
So all atoms will eventually run out of energy.
