Hello everyone, recently, Toei released a VR game of Sailor Moon, but there is a problem, the game is supposed to be in this website:

But unfortunately I can't access to it unless it is paying and due that I don't have much money this month, and because the game will be there only for a limited time, could someone get the model files for me?
Because I'm planning to port them into Xnalara and Blender.

I remember reading about how environments in 3D games get condensed so that players do not have to spend too much time just walking around compared to real life cities for example. Now I see AAA games with cities that look like or even are NYC and it seems like they're using real dimensions now.

Tell me industryfags, is it true you guys work 80hr weeks and get paid no overtime and that you have to fight for jobs a pajeet is willing to do for scraps? What's it like working for someone where you have no creative control over the direction of the project? Does the novelty of seeing your name in artstation or in the credits of a movie wear off overtime? Please redpill me on why I should quit my comfy but boring government job for 3d when I can do it on the side on my own terms with pirated software and courses?

How do I find more work? What is the secret?

I've been working as a freelance FX TD for the past 3 years and I'm fairly proud of my portfolio, I almost always have relevant experience to show the client during an interview.

However I'm still extremely reliant on Upwork. I've been posting my work on instagram, vimeo, behance, reddit and facebook groups but I pretty much never get any work opportunities.

I have these video game characters to make and they're around 10k/20k polygons. I'm currently in the learning phase and I'm testing all the softwares possible for my final pipeline. For now I settled with Zbrush, Blender for polymodeling, Maya for rigging and animating, Houdini for VFX and procedural stuff and Unreal for the game engine (I have yet to learn texturing but I'm not there yet)
Anyway, I'm lost when it comes to topology, I can't chose any tool but even worse, I can't chose between all the shitload of addons and tools each software has (Softwrap, Retopoflow, . And I'm not even talking about the dedicated retopo software like topogun.
Anyway, can you people enlighten me on this? Obviously I'm after the tool that'll make the process faster (it doesn't have to be an automatic retopology tool but I want to make every part light as fuck cause I'm solo on this project)
Any recommendations to make? I don't care if they're free or not.

Wanted to remake my asuka render in godot 4.0, but seems the alpha makes my GPU driver to glitch so I'll have to wait until a beta to seriously start making final 4.0 renders.

But I've gotten my render to look more like a real render and not some default godot render.

:)

There was some areas I could improve, but I just wanted to render the model, and is 1 AM to like spend more time on this.

I want to create very basic textures for my stylized low poly characters. Basically the textures the character in this image has where it's a color gradient with some AO and highlights.

Would forking over the cash for Substance Painter be enough to achieve this with my no artistic skill having ass or would I also need to git gud with photoshop?

Currently I'm using color gradients and creative UV placement, but my workflow is ass and means I have pump up my draw calls through the roof if I'm using multiple colors. I'd rather just bake it all into simple textures and have one draw call per mesh.

Weight painting in Blender fucking sucks help
First of all, for some vertices, it will add even when weight is at 0% in mix. Second, no matter what I do, I always get an almost completely solid red, with only the very edges being between 0 and 1. What the hell am I doing wrong?
