🧵 What all can cause primary anorgasmia/pleasure-disassocitative orgasmic disorder in males?
Anonymous at Thu, 27 Jun 2024 07:09:10 UTC No. 16256248
I am 20 years old and have never orgasmed in my life. This seems to be a very rare condition, and self research on the internet has proven very frustrating as I keep getting results for causes of anorgasmia later in life or different types of sexual dysfunction. I was hoping this board might be able to help me.
Other conditions I know I have: autism spectrum disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, non-24 hour sleep wake disorder/free-running sleep disorder, brachydactily type D, illusions, circumcision.
Possible conditions I have: asthma, sunken chest, brachydactily type E, gynecomastia, hallucinations, ADHD, tunnel vision
The only medication I have ever been on is anti-biotics
The following is a list of conditions I’ve heard can cause anorgasmia, with reasons I think they may be right or wrong:
>prolactinoma
+can also cause gynecomastia
+can cause vision problems if it grows too big
-rare in children, don’t know how rare at pubescence.
>multiple sclerosis
+can also cause vision problems
-usual onset is 20-50 years old according to wikipedia
>klinefelter syndrome
+correlated with autism
+displayed weakness and lack of coordination in childhood
+gynecomastia
—testicles seem to be normal size
>spinal injury
—I think this needs to be the kind that sends you to the hospital and while I did hurt my back once at a young age I received no real medical care.
>circumcision
*while it seems intuitive that cutting off the most sensitive part of the penis would cause anorgasmia, I’d expect anorgasmia to be much more common if it were possible. I did find a case report of another circumcised male who had AO, though https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/ar

🧵 Publication conflict of Interest

My supervisor just threw me a request to write up another student's thesis as a paper on short notice (3 days until deadline). As I support many of the masters and PhD students in the faculty, I just realised I participated in this student's study.
Now obviously, I won't write up this paper if I don't get co-authorship, but I'm not sure if being a co-author on a paper where you were a participant in the study is conflict of interest (I've never run into this situation before).
I've emailed my supervisor, but they are currently on leave. Can any other academic weigh in on this?

Why does everyone here like to deny climate and biodiversity loss.
The elites are not just gonna lie about this shit for shits and giggles. Obviously it’s a major concern.

no disrespect to the guy, he's done well
Came across a video about skin grafting for burn victims, a small sample can be latticed to cover a massive area and stimulate skin recovery / acceptance
ive lost a lot of weight recently and am noticing the excess skin, I try to donate blood as often as I can and joke I have "too much blood and other people need it".
Well I've lost weight and have too much skin, can I give it to someone who could benefit from it?

Back in 2022 I made this post,
https://warosu.org/sci/thread/15064
asking if it's possible for a math brainlet to ever improve his mathematics skills enough to study something STEM related. Today I received my top marks after a whole life of being bad at math. Working hard is the best skill. 1 year ago I couldn't even do long division and now I'm going to apply to study Computer Science (something WAY above my original goal) at a pretty good university in my country, kinda freaky to think about
