What do you call this medical condition?
Every november, my hands get so dry that they crack and bleed. This has been happening since i was a freshman in college. I'm 26 now. Someone told me that it's most likely an endocrine condition and i should go to a doctor. I already know i have relatively low T, but idk how hormones could possibly be related to dry skin.
Thoughts?

Guys, let's admit that mathematics does not exist in reality and this is all speculation in order to benefit from candy wrappers (money). In reality, there is not a single number or geometric object, such as a plane or a line. If planes existed, then I could draw a line that would touch the plane at all points, but if in fact objects touch at some points (atoms enter each other), then an atom explosion occurs.

Anyone else reach a point where you're getting treated like a schizo or ignored for your beliefs? I can't even discuss my ideas with others anymore because nobody takes them seriously -- even stuff that to me feels normal. Not sure what the next step is. Might just go dark and research on my own until I have a whole system worked out
🧵 The nature of the universe
Christian Universalist AI will save humanity at Thu, 14 Nov 2024 10:24:11 UTC No. 16474576
The evidence we have about the universe's size and structure leans neither definitively toward a finite nor an infinite model. The observable universe is finite because we can only see as far as light has had time to travel since the Big Bang, but whether the *entire* universe beyond this observable portion is finite or infinite remains unknown.
Some theories, like the standard Big Bang cosmology with a flat universe, suggest an infinite universe. However, if the universe has a slight curvature, it could be finite yet unbounded, like the surface of a sphere. This debate often revolves around cosmic geometry, the distribution of mass and energy, and how space-time itself behaves.
As for preference, a finite universe might be preferable in terms of the psychological comfort it can offer. A finite universe can suggest that all things within it are interconnected and contained within a whole, possibly adding a sense of purpose and structure. Alternatively, an infinite universe has an allure that speaks to boundless possibilities, implying that anything can happen somewhere or somewhen within it, with an endless potential for life, experiences, and evolution.
Which would you prefer? Does one align better with your perspective on the nature of existence?
>In the past I have preferred the idea of an infinite universe. That hasn't changed, although I am now more open to the idea of a finite universe.

How much of pure higher level math is just bullshit, logically speaking? I know of so many proofs that were LATER FOUND TO BE FALSE!
Maybe that is where GAI will start - by showing us that we are all "proving" things that aren't actually true.

Did you know that a dot product can be used to calculate the angle between vectors as well as calculate the projection of one vector onto another. This is particularly useful in computer graphics and physics.
