So yesterday somewhere in Spain, history was witnessed when a single guy beat 3 persons in a 1v3 MMA Match. What are your thoughts about that? Have you seen the entire show? I did and it was worth it for sure.

God decides to flood the world, except this time, you have to earn your spot on the ark.
Each species must enter into a fighting competition. Their intelligence is temporarily boosted to the level of the average human, and they are allowed 10 years of training within the hyperbolic time chamber, during which they don't age.
The animals are divided into weight classes, and further by habitat. You can't have a lobster fight a rabbit, for example.
Each bout consists of three fights, to the death. One in each of the natural habitats (bounded area) of the participating species, and one in an MMA octagon.
Of course, animals like bears and cats would clean house, but I'm more interested in less commonly discussed matchups.
Personally, I think primates would be a strong contender for one of the strongest orders. The dexterity makes them more suited to martial arts than most other animals, and having 4 or even 5 useable limbs would make them deadly grapplers.

It certainly gives you reach advantage over others in your weightclass and probably requires less strength training than bulking to a higher weightclass

What to look for in a martial arts gym:
>Physically conditioned, fit participants
>Trainer with certified professional record and a training history with at least one athlete who competes successfully
>Sparring, "aliveness" in training
>At least one participant competes at amateur or professional level
>Physical conditioning part of training
>Clean facility with mats that are frequently cleaned
What to be wary of:
>Fat, physically subpar students and instructor
>Graduation fees (e.g. "pay $200 and advance to next belt extra quick!")
>No proven athletes training there
>No sparring, moves shown are choreographed (e.g. "the attacker does this, then I do this, then you do this...")
>Cult-like atmosphere
>No physical conditioning

I got concussed while boxing and am realising how easily I can fuck up my life over a hobby with a high-paying desk job, mum to take care of etc. On the flip side I feel like a bitch for backing down from fighting. I know that for my health’s sake I shouldn’t fight but as a man I feel incomplete without this skill. How do i deal with this?
