I hate how the term "stylised" has come to mean the exact same shitty cel shaded look everywhere.

where is the innovation? picrel (sry for shitty small imagesize), i'm not sure if its even possible to make something like this in 3d, its deceptive. alot of challenges in makeing something that looks like this, but its the point that all fucking "stylised" graphics look identical.

(yes there are other issues in terms of jap's insistence on god awful use of perspective and focus, but that aside.)

Why the fuck won't blender just give us a geometry nodes script node

Give us a script and a solver node and we are DONE. Possibilities are literally endless. You can make a FLIP solver or anything in there. You pretty much have houdini inside blender, and I'm saying this as a Houdini user

It is fucking unbelievable that a script node isn't even in their development plans

What makes Corona so realistic? I know that Cycles can't do Caustics for shit. I heard you can tweak it with nodes though. But what else? Why Cycles always felt more like smooth plastic? And how can I get a Cycles render at least somewhat close to Corona level? What are the main issues?
