With the improvements made to the Grease pencil, and the addition of the new pose library and asset browser, Blender has become a viable alternative to Adobe Animate and Maya. Why again are you not using blender Anon?

Seamless realtime texture painting in Photoshop for Blender ?
Is it possible ? I've heard that some guys at Blizzard do this. Currently I only know of one plugin for Blender that updates a psd file whenever 'save' is triggered inside photoshop, allowing one to paint within photoshop, and periodically update the file shown in Blender.
However I'd really like to find a way to do this with real-time updating, as opposed to having to constantly trigger save.
Anyone have any clues or tips for me?
Substance Painter is trash for clean accurate texturepainting (imho), it really only shines when it comes to smart materials and drag and drop texture baking.

How the F do I assign a material to a single face? The assign button does nothing because the moment a select a material, it is applied to the entire mesh instantly.
Sigh. Please halp.

I was thinking of making a small 3d studio to upload and sell 3d packs on websites like unity, unreal, cgtrader.......etc
I tried working on it alone but is very frustrating and time-consuming. The last pack i did was one with race track props (just testing) and made about 100$ this month only from it, yeah i know its low.

Hey guys, curious if anyone would be able to help.
As you can see, I cut little notches using the peg sticking out of the ball around the outside of this cube. I did this using the Boolean function on the cube, and using the inner mesh as the Difference.
I could just do it manually and tediously, making these same cuts along the entire shape, but I'm wondering if someone else may have a better way to do this.
In my ideal scenario I could somehow make it so that all I need to do is face the meshes (as in the screenshot) then rotate the inner object to carve out parts of that cube. I've done some searches but haven't been able to find such a function.

Is retopoflow the best retopo solution or is there anything much better?
Quadremesher is too unreliable for professional character low poly remesh.

How can I generate a low poly character in a few minutes?
I can do it from scratch on blender, but I would love to see if I can save 2 hours of modelling and just do it in five minutes instead.
Character creator, makehuman and Vroid generates multi thousand meshes, not what I want (low poly characters).
Again, the issue is that I want to save 2 hours of work.

During all my 3D career I always modeled my own projects. A few years ago, I started to sculpt with zbrush and create stylized and realistic human characters.
From time to time I reuse my base mesh and modify it for creating different models. I like to focus on every detail, create highpoly meshes and then retopo them carefully. I can say all my sculpts and projects have my signature on them.
But sadly Ive been kind of worried because my twitter and social media arent growing anymore.
I admit Im a bit jealous about random users who use DAZ bodies or premade models to create quick scenes and growing really really fast. I know this is not the way I'd like to take, but I was thinking in using those bodies as a base or at least for reaching to a higher audience.
What would you do?

or
>Focus on using premade bodies, stitch heads I didnt model, modify them a little and quick and grow faster so I can have a ""better"" fanbase? I wont show these models in the professional field, as most of the people will know they arent 100% mine
