What's the point? All the power and it's useless, this would be a power house specially in the industry now, everyone is using Unreal Engine for movies and TV now specially after Stagecraft and the Star Wars thing, now that Obi Wan Trailer has dropped and people are seeing the epicness that can be creted it's a no brainer, so why are Apple being retards?

We've all seen the same thread over and over again of people who mistake skill with technical competency. Above is an animation created by people who know how to animate. The quality of the 3D assets is laughable.

It doesn't matter what software you use, it doesn't matter what workflow you have, it doesn't matter what tutorial you watch. If you honed your skill beforehand you will figure it out. Fundamentals matter and there's no going around it.

it seems recently more and more of the 3D i see in films recently is getting crappier.

picrel is a frame from the new 'diary of a wimpy kid' movie.
even projects from other studios like del toros upcoming Pinocchio film looks really amateurish as well.

Trying to apply curve modifier plus array modifier to this chain segment so that I can create properly bent chain props.

But for some reason the chain segments are being squished or resized. As if I hadn't applied a changed transform. But I have!

What's going on?

Is it possible to get really good at organic sculpting without any 2D drawing experience?

I always see conflicting arguments on this topic, where some people say it is REQUIRED, while others have posted amazing models and claim to only be able to draw stick figures, but they understand anatomy, etc.

Example of level of good is something like in the attached image.

What are some recommended resin printers for printing huge, maquette-sized pieces? I'm talking 1/6-1/4 statues. I imagine they'd still have to be cut into pieces (not expecting an actual 20" build height), but what's most efficient?

Or should I just go with a third party printing service to do it for me?
