The only way to grow as a 3d artist is to step outside of your comfort zone and do areas of 3dcg that you have never done before.
AI eliminates all this for prompting. Thus, AI is not art. Thoughts?

I just realized all the terrain generation tutorials simply teach how to make some dogshit random mountains/valleys, but none teach how to design levels. Any 2 digits IQ monkey can copy paste lidar heightmaps, but what about recreating pre existing levels from other games that don't have heighmaps available, for example? What's the best approach?
I'm a pretty good digital sculptor, tested pasted a map on a Zbrush plane to sculpt over it and got surprised at how terrible the experience felt, the camera really doesn't helps to understand the perspective/depths of the geography, something a second camera would probably help.

Yes, indeed there are as many settings as there are shapes. PavƩ and channel are what work best for a single row of diamonds, on a base that does not take up that much space. I have finished my test.
There's not current way to get a cheap way to get animation assets for a game that has the same coherent style and can be used for the creation of game.
AI may be cheaper, but so far, can't deliver coherent results for characters to be used effectively.
So far pic related is cheapest style/method I'm aware off, including AI to deliver game character animations.
Spend 7-8 months by now with AI experiments.
And no, as of today, my method is cheaper than AI for game character animations.
Will take a nap and Japan will be destroyed after today.

I made a house model in Sweethome3D and imported it to Unity as an .obj file, but when I try to add textures to it, they just become blurry as fuck and seems there's nothing I can do to alter them.
