🧡 data bachelor thesis help

Anonymous No. 16158902

Greetings Friends,
im currently starting my work with the bachelor thesis for my economic computer science degree(ye ye i know) and want to write about the different monetization models in (modern) gaming. I want to write an empiric study and not lean too much on literature but am struggling a little with accessing usefull data. In order to make meaningfull comparisons and judgements about different models i'd like to evaluate the most popular games on various platforms over the last 10-20 years. Popular meaning things like downloads, average in game time per user, monthly active players and revenue generated, but i dont know where to find this data or even if something like this would be publically available. I'd appreciate some ideas about where i could find them or even alternative ways of realizing a methodical approach to this topic. my first go to would be the playstore, appstore and steam charts but the tools for filtering for past data dont seem to be that great

🧡 Books on ElectroMagnetism Please

Anonymous No. 16158848

Don't explain to me how "electromagnetism" isn't a thing or some faggot ass nuance. The title has to say something and you are insufferable and understand the request just fine.

And thank you to those that answer.
I do ham radio at Extra Class and have general practical experience with electricity and such so have better than a layman base knowledge but nothing special.
Just so no one suggest "baby's first electrical book."

Hopefully some regarding distortion and gravity effects if anyone...

🧡 Physics textbook question

Anonymous No. 16158846

So I basically self studied math methods before doing any physics, is it possible for me to start studying physics from Taylor classical mechanics and Griffiths electrodynamics with no prior 1st year physics mechanics or electromagnetics knowledge. I'm basically overqualified in the math so I thought it would make it easier to understand. But some people say I still need to study freshman physics to understand Taylor and Griffiths, while one guy said he started with Griffiths first and did fine. I honestly don't understand it and just want to study physics the fastest way possible and not waste time studying general physics because the general physics material looks like it takes a very long time to learn due to how much material is covered.

I basically only want to study Taylor classical mechanics, Griffiths electrodynamics, Bes quantum mechanics, and Reif statistical mechanics, then qft by Maggiore and maybe some computational physics and maybe solid state.

in a real life Good Will Smith move, two high school seniors solved a mathematical puzzle that was thought to be impossible for 2,000 years. Black, Beautiful & Brilliant.

Johnson and Jackson discovered that the Pythagorean Theorem β€” a principle relating to the relationship between three sides of a right triangle β€” could be solved with trigonometry.

The theorem had been proven before in the last 2,000 years, but never with the use of trigonometry, until the students showed that this was a possibility.

Their appearance on "60 Minutes" this weekend isn't the first time that Johnson and Jackson's hard work has been showcased. The pair presented their hypothesis at the American Mathematical Society last spring.

β€œFor two months we worked together nonstop β€” during school, after school, at home, at lunch,” Johnson told the Times-Picayune last year. β€œWe had lots of Zoom meetings. Actually, during Mardi Gras break we were still working by Zoom.”

When CBS correspondent Bill Whitaker asked Jackson and Johnson if they were math geniuses in the episode's trailer, both shook their heads.

"Not at all," Jackson denied.

🧡 Nuclear War effects on Rain

Anonymous No. 16158815

What will happen to rainfall. Will it decrease gradually. Like 2/3rd rain in first year after nuclear war, 1/3rd rain in 2nd year and no rain in 3rd year.

Also suppose an allout nuclear war, will the human civilization go back to medieval era?

And are their nuclear missiles or is it dropped from a jet. Wouldn't they be easily destroyed?

could it be at all practical, or even efficient way to generate hydrocarbons with a mini Fischer Tropsch machine?
could you take co2 from the air, hydrogen from water, put them through a small scale of the process and get a reasonable amount of fuel?
then you could use that fuel inside of a petrol or turbine engine and get power back, acting as a sort of gasoline battery
your only limit of charge is how big your gas tank is

🧡 IV fluid overuse

Anonymous No. 16158454

Okay sci, I've been to the hospital for the first time ever this year to have some stuff done, why do they love IV fluid so much?
I mean, they run 1 or 2 of these huge bags into you and the bags are always cold, in the vast majority of cases they could have just given me body armor or some other sports drink that would do the same, cost less, require less nurse time, and be more enjoyable.

Why do they literally always whip out the IV fluids? It's like they like to use them as much as they can, there's got to be a better way to handle hydration, right? Potentially, maybe even, a stomach and your intestines and some kind of drink that you drink instead of shooting into your veins?
