How come doctors don't use ivermectin to treat cancer if it works?
Is it because the more expensive treatments which don't work as well turn larger profits for the doctors?

Welcome to the Science Foundation social. This thread exists to help you acquaint yourself with the other maids at my Science Foundation. Please form friendships and maybe a Maid Brigade. There are enough maids here that everymaid should be able to get a friend.

Here is the thread topic:

>favorite advanced Mathematics and Computer Science research topic
>the maid outfit you wear while coding

My answers?
SNOBOL4. I like how it manipulates strings.

>free old computer book for it:

My favorite topics are Computational Maidposting, Counting and Compression.

See attachment for Maid Outfit.

🧵 Full Macronutrient Biorefinery

Anonymous No. 16301242

Hey guys, I'm interested in creating a process to produce a food product from only agricultural waste (grass clippings)
i just did around 30 minutes worth of websurfing regarding this subject and made the attached flowchart describing the process and candidate microbes. i have no real experience with biology or chemistry aside from some introductory courses in highschool and very amateur homebrewing skills.
i'm not a vegan, but the idea of being able to reliably produce enough food for basic subsistence using only water and stuff anyone can find in their backyard is interesting
any ideas?

Would changing the rules of spelling help against frequency analysis? For example since e is the most common letter we could change a bunch of spelling to replace e with 3 so that e's frequency is split into two symbols. Or use z more often in spellings. This could be done until the distribution of all letters is uniform, but I'm not sure how useful that'd be or if it's already been done before.

Why are IFLS faggots so dumb and low IQ? Why is it so easy to trick them? Has science figured this one out yet?

🧵 I can suddenly hear ultrasonic frequencies

Anonymous No. 16301104

All of a sudden I became aware of the ultrasonic noises produced by electronics.
I have been a very big computer user all my life but now it's all falling apart.
Listening to my own computer is like torture and I can no longer do work. The noise gives me extemely loud tinnitus and bad nausea.
I disassembled my computer trying to find the culprit and found that I could actually hear the WiFi router too, and the plugs etc.

How does someone develop this disability? I've not been able to find anything on it. This article discusses people hearing ultrasonics but doesn't talk about people acquiring that ability in their mid 20's.

Am I understanding this correctly? To create an "entangled" pair of photons, you just generate two photons at once, that are out of phase?

And then you separate them by a huuuuge distance........and when Bob measures one as (+), Alice will always measure the other as (-)?

Is that really entanglement? Isn't that just, like....conservation of phase?
