>spend months or years on a low gravity, high radiation planet
>supposedly going to live and have children here eventually
>kids will have rickets, osteoporosis, muscle wasting
>will die from falling over, will have higher cancer rates from radiation exposure
Tell me again how this is going to work? Everyone seems to forget this stuff will happen. Will crispr be used to give colonist babies ultra dense bones? Will humans be given steroids and other medication to counteract the events of low gravity?

I've been reading through the Xeelee Sequence and in Exultant it brings up the idea of stable, high temperature condensate matter (as in Bose-Einstein condensate) as an indestructible structural material. Does that make sense?

If there are an infinite number of natural numbers, and an infinite number of fractions in between any two natural numbers, and an infinite number of fractions in between any two of those fractions, and an infinite number of fractions in between any two of those fractions, and an infinite number of fractions in between any two of those fractions, and... then that must mean that there are not only infinite infinities, but an infinite number of those infinities. and an infinite number of those infinities. and an infinite number of those infinities. and an infinite number of those infinities, and... (infinitely times. and that infinitely times. and that infinitely times. and that infinitely times. and that infinitely times. and...) continues forever. and that continues forever. and that continues forever. and that continues forever. and that continues forever. and.....)...

I couldn't focus on doing math because I was easily distracted by my surroundings and I didn't understand the underlying concept of numbers, or so it felt like.
How can I go from second grade math to becoming exceptionally good with the setbacks that I have?

Science is so fucking hard. We have to constantly confront the true nature of reality in the harshest possible way. Our ideas are always wrong. 90% of the time, the data shows nothing. The 10% of the time that the experiment actually works, it just shows you that your hypothesis was dumb and wrong. Even when you discover something, you probably won't understand what the fuck is going on. And yet, after years of going through this, we still keep going. Eventually we learn to be biased towards the most orthodox possible interpretation of the data. And yet we still keep going for some reason.
Anyone got good stories of epic scientific disappointment to share?

How come there isn't more people complaining about glare, visual strain and quality of life decrease from having these shit white-violet lights on all night?

Could you help understand my iq?
Only diagnoses I have is adhd and an undefined learning disability. I’ve struggled a lot with procrastination, rigid thinking and emotional control throughout my life. I’ve also struggled socially due to my slow processing speed- I literally cannot keep up with most people, it’s very painful.
I’m not educated but I’d like to be. I worry im incapable because of my abysmal working memory and processing speed.
Anyone have a similar iq or experience with slow processing speed/working memory issues?
Anyway sorry if this is the wrong board for this, I’m not sure where else it fits.
I have posted this here before but I’m trying one more time to see if anyone has any insights.
Thank you so much for your time
