How do you guys rig your characters for games? I always have used mixamo but I wanna start making them myself. The thing I am confused about is, do you make one rig and reuse is it? If so wont you have to weight paint again (which seems stupid)? Or do you copy the weight data somehow?

I need a human sized model so I can build a mech around it, but the only program I have is Creo, and when I try to use the default one, it says some b ullshit about commercial edition and im brokje af. Does anyone have a .prt file with a manikin in a default position or A pose? Its all I ask. .asm or .prt.

any tips on organizing files when you work on a project? as soon as I start working on something my desktop turns into mess of fbxs, textures, objs, some temporary maya folders etc. how the fuck do you keep everything clean and organized? then importing all that shit into engine and organizing it there makes everything 100x worse

Is there an actual 3D texture painting tool? Even stuff like Substance Painter or Quixel Mixer still use the UVs for most of their operations and just translate mesh space to UV space first, with only a few tools not doing so (e.g. drips etc).
Is there a tool out there that actually uses the mesh topology and only bakes out the result onto the UVs?

What's the point? Even on vimeo, my animations which are textured look blurry as shit compared to the mp4 master I have on my HDD, basically ruining all the hard work i have done as you cant even see anything. What should I do?
