Why is vanilla Blender so fucking trash for hard surface? It's like they're actively trying to make it unusable for anything other than overwatch porn
You basically *need* HardOps and Boxcutter to even attempt it and even then you'd be better off just doing it in CAD and porting the model over.

I'm doing some little animations of 2d logos to 3d. I'm satisfied with the animation but not with the lighting. I've got 3 overhead spotlights with different size + an area light in front hitting the top of the model.

What's with the trend of trying to replicate 2D in 3D? Why are there so many artists bending over backwards developing all these addons and techniques to make a 3D animation "look like a drawing" instead of just drawing? If you want your 3D animu waifu to look 2D why not just draw her?

Hey guys. I have a problem with baking Ambient Occlusion in Marmoset. All on picture. I've tried everything that seems to be possible, but I still get this damn white stripe at the joints of the meshes.
And this is not a seam, yes
I know that this can be fixed in photoshop, but I have not a free thousand years of my life
Using a painter instead of a marmoset for baking is also not a very good option...
Maybe someone can help me?

It's a good idea to start an animation channel on youtube making literal slideshows animes?
Pretty sure it would be possible to literally make some slideshow with pannings and minimal editing, and then using one of the meme new anime AI to use as render NPR engine.
Then just a quick voice over using some AI voice and some stock music from a stock site.
I think an OVA would be possible to make in a month of work.
I mean, most animes are literal slideshows already with 3 FPS, shouldn't be too dificult to make an slideshow animation on blender.
Just recicle the most animations like it's a videogame and then is doable I think to pull this off.
