Since light linking is a feature blender doesnt have.
Does this mean I need to composite on a third party app?
I cant use blender compositor because I need 8 directional angles for a 2D game character.
What I want to ask, is that if manual retouching and compositing on third party apps are part of real advanced 3D animations?

I wanted to learn Zbrush however the confusing nature of Zbrush was simply preventing me (Ztool, Ztool, Save Ztool, muh Ztool, Ztool, Ztool, Save scene).
You can literally not do this in blender.
Is blender the MS Paint of 3D software ?
Sure I can do whatever he is doing in that video however it will take me x20 times longer.

I've been using Blender for 6 months and I didn't know this was a thing. So, to make things quick, I got a scene that exceeds the maximum available VRAM of my GPU so... can I hypothetically render a part in one layer and then the other in another layer and then mix everything in the compositor???

Im a kinda known 3D artist. My works have been featured on sites like zbrushcentral, cgsociety, 80lv an many others. I worked in the gaming industry for some years and after a while, I started my solo career as a freelance, tired of the conditions and problems I had in the past.
So whats the deal with all the porn animators everywhere?
>They steal models, props, assets, textures, everything
>All of them follow the same exact """"workflow"""", no time for learning anything different (press this button, prepare these 3 lights . . .)
>Dont care about learning anything about 3D, just straight to the point. Pose, loop animation, render
>Begging for new models, dont know how to stitch a head onto a DAZ body, basic modeling or anything related

Ive talked to several of these self-proclamed 3d artists and most of them are really arrogant and act like they own the market.

What would you do in these cases?
Staying original seems like a dead end. Ive seen plenty of good artists with 900 followers on twitter compared to 50.000 of the other ones in just a couple of weeks.
Is it really worth all this effort?
It saddens me very much, but Im starting to hate 3D and all its world. Its a very disgraceful work.

I need to do some animu renders.
But I need to have a diferent light source position for each object, since 2D art doesnt have perfect light perspective and each object in 2D art usually has a diferent light angle.
The issue is how to replicate this in blender?

Hey there Anons, I'm learning how to use Blender as a 3D art reference so that I can post figures to sketch in my sketchbooks and other ink type artwork. The only problem I'm coming across is trying to find free 3D models for human anatomy and Andrew Loomis style construction models to rig up and pose, etc. It would help me a ton because I want to learn more anatomy through the skeleton, muscles, etc and changing the camera around would help me a ton.
I checked the sticky at the top, and searched on the board but couldn't find anything. Any help would be cool, thanks.

this is probably a longshot but does anybody know why this happens? I import a model to Blendr and export it as a FBX file to use in Clip Studio Paint but when I try to pose it all the bones are fucked up. Why does this happen and how do i fix it? It poses fine in Blendr and it seems to be random to what model it affects or doesn't. Is there any way to fix the bones or does it require having to rework them all?
I should add I'm a complete beginner and don't know much about 3D past the absolute basic.

Why don't artists do soft-body modeling in NURBS anymore? The aesthetic is extremely clean and effectively has infinite resolution, with the parametric nature of the curves allowing for perfect adjustments instead of an ugly polygonal nightmare.

I've been working on a 3d vtuber with neural tts for some weeks. Not satisfied with the lip sync. Anyone have experience with an easy workflow? What other software can i try? Other criticism? Quite fun to just write a script and have it all rendered out
