Are they ok to buy used or do they wear out too fast so I better get a new one.
I mainly use blender and a little bit of CAD as well as drawing/sketches on a tablet.

Hi /3/, i'm struggling learning the CD-3D art style (like ps1/n64 3d model), currently I'm using as reference the old ps1's resident evil, and i can tell that i'm on my way... anyway i know mine model has no head but i want to rig the model first. As you can see my model is just made of groups of collection with mirrored parts (each one is indipendent from it's mirror counter part). Now wich way i need to study for rigging and animate it? I was thinking that i need to have a custom bone for each parts without grouping them all in a unique armor... Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Hi
I made an animation, and now upon opening the file it's gone. If I go to the Reference Editor and click File->List Reference Edits, I get a super-long list of Failed_SetAttr.

I tried saving the file as an .Ma, and change the reference names in the beginning, but it didnt help, and the model just didn't show at all.
Anyone can help?

YES I'm gonna make an entire thread dedicated for blogposting because I'm literally fucking shaking rn alright.
So basically I spend hours making a fucking rig in Blender, then painstakingly renaming every single fucking bone with their appropriate prefixes + suffixes and then making a bunch of fucking poses making sure to Fake User fucking save them.
I do a bunch of other shit, then reopen Blender, try to reapply the poses again, but uh oh, THEY'RE FUCKING BROKEN. And you wanna know why anon? Huh, you wanna know FUCKING why anon?!?!? Because for some FUCKING reason some FUCKING JACKASS at the FUCKING Blender foundation thought it'd be really fucking funny to make it so that bones with DEF prefixes would be FUCKING EXCLUDED FROM KEYING.
Hahahahahahahaha what a fucking joker, you piece of shit, if I ever see you I'm gonna RIP YOUR FUCKING FACE OFF you sack of SHIT. Hilarious.
