i weigh less than 100lbs
which martial art would give me the best chance of survival against an average man?
id carry a weapon like a tazer / pepperspray / knife and just learn how to use that but i suffer from being bongish so those are illegal

is it a bad idea starting at 26? i tried it when i was 23 (out of shape at that time too) with shitty used up gear, i got the hang of the "just get down the hill with no fall" after 3 times the first day at home, also Im in much better shape musclewise now.
Extra notes:

Why is this? All we know about the Arditi is that they used an ice pick grip and mauled straw dummies. There is also a kind of manual in Italian but it seems fake since the style described is rather defensive and not very effective, while the Arditi were known to be aggressive and rather successful. I'd have expected something simple and based on attacking similar to the Piper System.
So what gives? Anyone know more?
