Spearfishing and freediving... I dive alone although I shouldn't because the ocean is a pretty unforgiving place. I've had my fair share of close calls with death in the 10ish years I've been diving/spearing but it seems impossible to find a dive buddy that cant get time off work or away from the family. I try to get new people into it all the time, I've got enough extra gear to take a few people with me and teach them but everyone gets cold feet when it comes time and I end up diving alone.
Would you try it? If not, why?

>my friend goes around corner and gets hit
>i go around same corner and scare the fucker off
>i get hit by another fucker because i let my guard down
>little kids and my friend are all too scared to move up
>i go through a different spot and get shot in the fucking finger
>hurts like a fucker
>i go check on it off field
>its fucking purple and its bleeding even though i wore gloves

Anyone here ever fight? I’ve been training for a month and am looking to get a timeline for the first amateur bout. I do conditioning and weights 3x a week and do bag drills and technique on alternate days. Unfortunately I can only train with the group once a week, currently trying to find someone to spar with in between those classes

I cant skate, ive done it twice and i still have to hold the rail the whole time, im also really fat, my side and foot hurts like hell cuz im leaning on the rail side when i do it. I have not gotten better.
I want to be good, im not concerned with grinding or flipping. I just want to skate outside and feel the wind and trees
