How would you create a team fighting sport? For instance, 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4. What would the meta look like, at least initially? I bet it would infact be primarily striking since going to the ground would be an incredible risk.
For instance, maybe something like a scaled-down version of Russian stenka:

When I've watched kots, I saw at least 1 sytuation when someone got his oppentent's back but instead of choking him and end the fight, he punched him ineffectively. Another guy was one of the best in kots but when he moved to more professional league, he lost during the 1st round due to choking. I think kots fighters should move to lethwei, not mma. Also I'm curious if kots refs would stop the fight in case of effective joint lock or chocking because they seem rather assholes.

Any Kung Fu practitioners here? I have the opportunity to learn Northern Praying Mantis and Northern Shaolin. Should I do it? For background, I am 20, overweight, have no previous martial arts experience, no sports background, and am generally unathletic. It looks cool but I just wonder if it's worth my time to learn it. Thoughts?

hii anon. i’m a 5’6 male that weighs around 120 pounds and i am reasonably fit. i’ve been researching some material arts for self defense because people around me are fucking taller and could actually fuck me up. i’ve came to the conclusion that i should focus on grappling in a hand to hand combat situation. the material art im going to learn is judo.
why judo over bjj, muy thai, wrestling, or literally anything else is for one reason. if i can get someone on the ground, what’s stopping me from just stomping on them? most people ik don’t really know material arts and if they do, it’s something like really basic boxing. also most people are taller than me, and that allows me to knock them off balance, in the eyes of judo, id have the height advantage.
i’m making this thread to have some advice for judo, grappling, material arts in general, self defense, literally anything.
if you have any other materials arts i should learn over judo rn im open

I got in a fight today. I've never been in a fight in my adult life. it was 2 against one. I did ok but when I was grappling with the one dude, he pulled my shirts over my head and the other dude busted my nose. I think it was a kick because I don't think he had the angle he needed to punch me.
anyway, I stuffed TP up there and the first rest room I got to I realized my nose was out of joint.
I popped it back in place as best I could and it immediately started pouring blood again. I stuffed fresh TP up there and kept it tilted back and applied pressure until I got home. I also took 3 ibuprofen an hour or so ago. I'm home now.
what should I do?
I need to disinfect it but I'm afraid if I pull the TP out it'll disrupt the clotting, but maybe I need to do it anyway?
also I don't think my nose is completely back in place but I don't especially care if it's a little crooked from now on.

I've been boxing recreationally for about a year (13 months). I'm finally free enough to take it seriously, and am aiming to go amateur.
I want to ask what good exercises you guys know to really get my A game on. I'm 19 currently at 5'7''. I grew about an inch at age 18, and may grow more (we will see). I lost some weight (10 lbs) because of a bad cold and I'm focused on bulking now.
I recently got a gym membership because my boxing club doesn't have normal machines, and it has just a single bench. Any help is appreciated.

how to start a fighting sport? I have trained some regular weightlifting and i know getting a PT is the biggest scam of them all. so i wonder whats the most optimal way for me to learn how to fight without spending the most cash. is it just go to the fighting club i want with sparring classes?
