If you believe in God, explain the existence of ugly people.

What is the point?

Looked at myself in the mirror today and I had to ask myself (ugly guy) the same question: why does God make ugly people?

And before you say "Your parents are ugly don't blame God" 1: They aren't 2: Even if they were we could blame God at some point.

I don't really see the point of doing anything at all.

It's all about looks.

An Aikido master would easily be able to win a battle again a bear or a lion, because he would be able to redirect the force of the animal's attacks back towards the animal.

If you lack ANY of those you're nothing but a untrained guy that don't know jackshit

Why do so many martial arts and fighting sports disconsider those essencial moves that happen in 99% of fights 99% of the time?? this should be the ground for everything in martial arts

🧵 Is there any martial art(s) that would work against apex predators (tigers, bears, lions)

Anonymous No. 147719

I am planning to move somewhere where there is almost no human (thinking of amazon or siberia) and live there without anything on me aside from survival tools (excluding guns because they are for pussies)

Anyways I plan to only hunt apex predators because killing preys such as deers feel bad for me. They have no defense and dont really kill anyone. And that is why I decided to only go after strong animals. Also, there is the fact that they could kill me too so there is no guilt in me hunting them.

And I dont want to use guns because that kinds of kills the sense because they will again be defenseless against that. I only want to use spears, knives, or if possible, my bare hands.

So tell me what are the perfect fighting style against these beasts?

Do you guys have any experience in the heavier weight classes? What advice do you have for big guys who are into grappling, be it wrestling, judo, BJJ, sambo, etc. I'm 6'4 200 pounds and I find fighting people my own size to be really exhausting. Is it just a matter of hitting the gym and getting stronger?

Try to beat two opponents who aren't total retards or much smaller than you with striking.

Try to outbox a knife user. I guarantee you'll never post any bullshit on the internet again.

At least learn some wrestling to be the gay top because otherwise any grappler will make you a gay bottom

>You don't need to spar to train martial arts.
This may hinder reaction times & pain tolerance, but there are many training methods to compensate. For example
>Traditional Martial Arts are a source of many extreme training methods that produce competent fighters.
Training martial arts at all will make you more skilled than those who do no fight training. However
>Bullshido is rampant in the martial arts community and much of it resides within the TMAs
&
>Combat Sports have been invaluable in categorizing martial arts styles into the practical & spiritual
But it is important to remember that
>CS are specifically designed for ruled unarmed 1v1 engagements with protective gear in optimized environments
Martial Arts is bigger than CS and
>Combat Sports are likely not the most extreme expression of Martial Arts.

Does "the one" have to ride as much as you or do they just have to not interfere with riding?

FAQ on buying a bike that nobody reads anyway:
> What good bike can I get for under $500?
a stolen bike. Possibly a newer used entry level hardtail but don't expect it to survive rock gardens, jumps, or drops. Or an older mtb which won't be as good as newer ones and will still have a front derailleur, but it'll be good enough.
> What good bike can I get for under $1000
Used hardtail
> What good bike can I get for under $2000?
New Hardtail
> What good bike can I get for under $3000?
Used full suspension
> What are the excellent value brands?
Marin, Commencal, Canyon, Polygon, YT, Propain, Kona, and many more. Sometimes the expensive brands have an excellent value bike
> What are the differences between an XC, Trail, Enduro, and Downhill bikes?
XC bikes are for going up fast, go down not as fast. Trail are bikes are for going up and down. Enduro bikes are for going down fast, and slower up. Downhill bikes are for going down really fast, needs a ski lift, truck, or the rider pushing it to go up.

🧵 Punching

Anonymous No. 146679

Is it normal that punching while wearing boxing gloves feels extremely awkward for me? If I punch a bag full force while wearing boxing gloves, sometimes I "fuck up the angle" and my fist "slides" at an angle and I hurt my wrist, as it bends. However, if I go bare knuckle/just wraps, this angle issue does not manifest, ever. I can feel the shock going into my metacarpals and my wrist, usually in a beautiful and satisfying angle, and my wrist doesn't bend and certainly doesn't hurt as much. Is this because I used boxing gloves that are "too round"? Would this issue stop were I to use more "square" or "cubic" gloves, or am I basically saying retarded shit at this point and I just need to learn proper technique?
